I am very happy with this sound machine! I had previously been using one that only took batteries, and since I use this every time my baby sleeps, I was going through batteries like crazy! I bought this one specifically because it has a plug-in option, and am very happy with the product. I use the white noise, and so far it has served its purpose very well.

Very helpful in my babys bedtime routine. Relaxing for me too. Wish it could be a tiny bit louder, highest setting doesn't completely drown out sounds.

Helps baby sleep through household noises

We needed a white noise machine to help our baby nap through the noise of our toddler playing. The white noise option works better than the nature sounds, although a higher pitch "sh" sound would have been even better. It sounds a bit like a distant jet's low hum rather than the soft wind noise that I was hoping for. The music selection is limited, but is pleasant and soothing. The sound quality is excellent and the nightlight is an added bonus. Most baby products similar to this one were battery powered and turned off after 30 minutes or so. This one has a timer, but can also be left on until manually turned off with the button. This was a must since we were trying to mask noises through the whole nap (or all night), not just for 30 minutes. Since it is plugged in, we don't have to worry about it using up the batteries. The location of the buttons on the back of the machine is awkward. They are difficult to locate without turning the machine around which is a pain because the cord plugs in there as well. The push top nightlight is my only concern about durability. So far, it is functioning fine. Overall, this product is working well for our needs and was better priced than other similar products. It's neutral color and small size make it practical for any room.

This is the 2nd of these sound machines we've purchased - one each for both of our boys. I like all the sound features offered. Also like the nightlight feature and the different volumes. It's a little pricey, but worth it for the use it gets.

This is a nice compact sound machine. However, I wish it was a little louder. Also, there is a blue light that shines through the speaker holes at all times. Other than that, it works great and is easy to travel with.

I have had this sound machine for almost 6 months now and have had it on all night every night since our son was born and during naps. I have used the wall plug in, not batteries, and had great success. It is a great product and a great price.

I am really pleased with this product. When I was buying it I wasn't sure if it was good but it exceeded my expectations. First of all it works great as a night light. I turn it on when I put my 2 month old baby to sleep and turn everything else off. I can see in the dark with it on but it's not too bright and doesn't bother the baby and he falls asleep pretty fast. I also use it at night when I breastfeed. The baby doesn't get distracted by it and doesn't wake up. He eats and goes right back to sleep. Another great thing about it is that it has 2 sets of sounds. One has lullaby music (several different ones to choose from) and another one has white noise, heartbeat, forest sounds, ocean waves and other ones. I use ocean waves every night. I love it. Another great feather is that there is a timer for the sounds. You turn it on and it turns the sounds off in 60 minutes. I wish there was a choice of 15/30/45/60 minutes but 1 hr is fine too. Overall, it's a great product and I love it. I had no idea there was something like that out there so I'm really glad I saw it at Wal-Mart. I really think it's a must-have for every mommy.

We bought this for our baby for his first night in his crib. The transition from bassinet to crib went great. He fell asleep on his own almost immediately and we've never had any issues. The Graco Sweet Slumber Sound Machine definitely helped.

Ever since I purchased this sound machine my 2 month old son has only been waking once in the night, instead of 3 or 4 times. He has a 17-month old sister so he is used to alot of noise. I think it was too quiet at night for him. This sound machine is wonderful!!

When I was looking for a sound machine for my son's room a lot of the reviews for this one said it wasn't loud enough. I"m not sure what they were talking about because this one is plenty loud enough for a child's room. The music section that's on it is very limited (i think it's only about 5 or 6 songs) but that's what we listen to all the time. I LOVE that it's so small, we can take it on trips with us and it doesn 't take up much room at all. The night light on the top is not very bright but nice and soothing for his room.

My 14 month old and I enjoy this product and it helps us sleep more soundly. My only complaint is that it's not quite loud enough to drown out all household sounds.

Excellent machine and only product I found that you can run the sound all night. Other sleep products I used would shut off in 45 minutes and wake the baby up often. I use it every night for my now 4 1/2 month old. Highly recommended!

This product has a lot of features with all the different sounds and the ability to plug in your MP3 player. Unfortunately none of the white noises did the trick for me - the ideal sound for me is the first (most like a fan) and it just doesn't go loud enough. I'm sure it works well for babies though! I ended up leaving it in my daughter's room as a night light and I use it occasionally as a speaker for my MP3. I found a loud fan to drown out my neighbors at night :)

Stopped Working - Problem on multiple units.

Graco Sweet Slumber is easy to use and set up. Night light feature is good and the sounds offered are quite varied. Volume doesn't go very loud but I think its loud enough.
Unit worked well once plugged in and ran on batteries for 15 minutes then developed a fault. The unit became completely unresponsive and locked up on battery use. Followed the recommended reset procedure which did not fix the issue. Changed the batteries and the issues was still there.
In the end I took the unit back to Walmart and got another. This worked well for 1 day then the same issue. Locks up on battery use and won't respond until you plug in mains power.
Graco agreed it was a fault but their only suggestion was to send it back.
I returned it and bought another brand.

My 16 mo old granddaughter brings this with her when she spends the night with us. She enjoys the nature sounds as she falls asleep and she likes it left on all night long so if she wakes during the night she hears the sweet sounds of nature she's accustomed to as she goes back to sleep. It has helped her enjoy sleeping in her crib be able to go back to sleep on her own when she does wake in the night for a long time now!

I got this for my toddler to help block out the noise from the other 4 of us in the house, but it actually interrupted his sleep so now I use it! I love the white noise. I find the other sounds annoying. My toddler does enjoy the music though, so it serves a dual purpose.

I purchased the Graco sound machine for our home & for when we travel. We have a toy that plays music and our baby seems to relax and fall asleep with it, so I decided we needed one that played longer than a few minutes. I like that it has a timer on it, wish it had 30 & 60 minutes not just 60mins. We have used it when we traveled and it worked out great. The nightlight feature was perfect. I have not used the MP3 hookup yet, so I can't comment on it. Overall I am pleased with the performance of the sound machine.

My 2 month old daughter did not like any of the cute little musical animals, etc that we received as gifts and getting her to sleep more than 45 minutes at a time was an ordeal. The 1st night we had this she slept for 6 hours straight! I'm a big skeptic and am usually annoyed by the "I had a whole new baby" testimonials, but in this case it really does work that well for us.
It has a great sound quality and nice compact design. The night light is perfect and we leave it on all night. My daughter sleeps in our room and we all sleep better with the white noise. The MP3 hook up is awesome too and I use it during the day to listen to my playlists.
The best feature is you can use batteries or plug it in.
