The WearEver Cook & Strain 1.5-Quart Nonstick Saucepan simplifies cooking by adding pour spouts and straining lids to the pans, allowing food to be strained in the same pan in which it is cooked. Made from stainless steel, this glass lid saucepan is highly durable. The handles are riveted to it, which makes it easier to use this sauce pan. It has a glass lid that lets you easily monitor the state of the food inside. This stainless steel sauce pan is thus an ideal addition to any kitchen as it infuses a sense of style to the decor besides making cooking an easy task.
Heats rapidly. Double pour spouts, strainer lid, and a cool handle. Nice heft and a beautiful saucepan. I researched a lot and nearly bought Emeril ware brand instead to be sure I got a high quality and long-lasting saucepan. I also insisted on stainless steel so I can wash it normally, use standard cooking utensils, and drastically reduce the amount of Teflon I ingest. 1 1/2 qt size just fine for Kraft 7.25 oz Mac and Cheese. Strainer lid is a great feature. The -main handle- remains cool HOWEVER beware of the- lid handle- (knob) it can get too hot too touch. Best $20 I ever spent.

This stainless steel sauce pan does not operate at all for induction cooking. The 2 and 3 quart sauce pans do not work for induction cooking as well. If you use the pan on electric or gas, the pan will perform well.

This is a good little sauce pan for most applications. Heavy flat bottom and heats up quickly. However if a tight fitting lid is important to you you will be disappointed. The lid is too small for the pot and wobbles around when in use and the side pour spouts allow the steam to escape. I don't know why it even comes with a lid. I returned it for that reason but if that is not important to you it is a fine inexpensive pot.

Really nice product! Perfect size for one can of anything. As with all stainless steel, following the manufacturer's directions is the key to a long lasting product. This performs as expected. I love it!

I first had a small strainer pot that was advertised on TV. I fell in love with it for heating canned vegetables and being able to strain it in the same pot! Unfortunately it started rusting on the inside after a few months (you get what you pay for). We stopped using it and went back to the old fashioned way to get rid of liquid. I HATED it! I searched on the Internet for a replacement. I wanted a better quality one so it would last. Those ranged anywhere between $40.00 & $80.00! It was also hard to find a small one. I finally found this name brand one for about the same price as my old one! I haven't had any problem with it. I was worried about the handle getting hot & the lid coming off while straining but it's worked wonderfully!

Lid doesn't fit tight but that's not an issue for me.
Wish the lid had a little different design as water tends to get trapped when rinsing after washing. It will dry, just seems excessive. So happy with this item.

This is my favorite pan in the kitchen. I love that you can strain with the lid. It's just the right size for a small batch of pasta or oatmeal. Easy to clean, and the handle is very ergonomic, and the bottom is nice and thick. Also like that it has a hole in the handle so you can hang it from a pothook. I intend to buy the other pan just like it that is the next size up. Good purchase.

I had a similar product from Oneida that I really liked. It had the same straining qualities as this pot. However the finish on the Oneida did not hold up. The stainless finish on this pot is much better and I think I will have it a long time.

I purchased this pan two years ago to make gravy in. My other pans are nonstick and I didn't want to use a metal wire whisk in them because I feared scratching the nonstick coating. This Wearever pan has become my favorite sauce pan for more than just gravy. I've sauteed onions in it with no problem at all using only a little olive oil. So far, I haven't had any trouble with anything sticking to it. It comes out of the dishwasher looking great, and I don't have to have special cleaners for it. The pan has a nice weight to it, and cooks evenly on my glass-topped stove. I do recommend this little pan for doing a great job, and its low maintenance. In fact, I like this pan so well, I am in the market to replace my entire stock of nonstick cookware with other pieces like this Wearever sauce pan.

This saucepan is extremely convenient for frequent use. Practically cleans itself after use...sometimes can just be rinsed and wiped clean. I keep it within reach and use it just about every day. Its the perfect size for almost everything. A bargain item that will last for years.

What a great price for such a great pot. It's very professional looking, and the straining lid is so handy, especially for making single servings of pasta, etc. Use this pot the same way you'd use other stainless cookware, and the cleanup will be easy. No way to beat this price and free shipping with Wal-Mart --ordering another one today for my mother.

I have had this pan now for over a year. I love it. It is a heavy bottom pan that cooks beautifully at lower temps to get the same results. Oatmeal is an easy clean-up if you don't hurry and do cook on med to med high as the instructions say. The quality is as a much higher priced pan. I am now adding to my set and hopefully getting out of all my non-sticks which are indeed not good for your health.
