Over-priced piece of plastic

The previous mat I had lasted nearly 15 years, until it began to split and expose the carpet underneath it. The old mat was thicker, more rigid, and had many more spikes (teeth-like knobs that allow it to grip the carpet and keep it in place--just as an automotive mat). The old mat's spikes were also longer and sharper. After allowing three days for this product to relax, it is continually moving out of place. Alas, your competitors sold the same type of mat. Your price was better and that, and my need to protect the carpet, is the ONLY reason I paid $34 for this very marginal product. I spent less money on a new HP Printer--go figure! John A. G. This chairmat is awesome. It was delivered in a huge box to keep it from being damaged. It is very heavy material and is a good large size. It holds to the rug very well and I think it is a really substantial quality. It looks like it should last for a really long time, no matter who sits on it. It doesnt slide and I couldnt ask for anything more. BUY THIS TODAY!

Won't lay flat!

This chairmat was wadded up in a large box with multiple folds in every direction. So, when I tried to lay it down, it had multiple ridges and wrinkles (and still does!) and the two front corners are curled up and won't lay down. It should have been neatly rolled up with the top side on the outside.

It sat on low carpet and lasted less than a year before it cracked and broke where the chair wheels sit. I duct-taped it but eventually had to throw it away. It's simply too thin and flexible unless you're going to use it on cement or hardwood and then the spike grippers for the carpet wouldn't hold.
