When I was looking to buy my first motorcycle helmet, I thought about taking the cheaper side because they all are DoT certified. So I attempted to buy the Fuel full face helmet. size medium. When it arrived, in fact there was a LARGE helmet inside the box. Even though marked on the package M. So I attempted to return it to my local walmart. However when I pulled the boxes off the shelves, no matter what the sizing was on the box. The helmets were all the wrong sizes. One might think, they are just randomly tossing helmets into boxes, and shipping them out to retal sites. After walmart clear up the mess with the mispacked items, they found me a medium sized helmet. when looking at the helmet, the white fuel logo in the front, does not exsit on any of the helmets i've seen. Only a faded grey fuel marking on the rear. It did have 5 air vents, which are nice, and provide overall decent cooling. On the road, it provides a nice field of view. And the helmet fits snug. But a huge turnoff however, when you reach 60mph, the visor lets a surprising amount of air underneath it. So you might as well just only use teh visor to keep bugs, larger dust, and birds away. Not to forget, you need saftey glasses under you helmet, to protect from the wind. So this leads me to the visor, I tried to replace it with a "smoked" visor. Good Luck, as the dont exist. Other shopping sites claim they are "out of stock" while fuel's, company website offers them. Yet when you call them, it offers no way of buying one. So. If you was a cheap helmet, just to pass your state law. This might be suited for you. Just keep in mind, at highway speed the wind issue presents itself. A user going into entry riding however, These might be a pain, and turn riders away from helmets entirely. Fork up the extra cash. It's cheap for a reason.

Just started riding with my boyfriend, so was looking for an inexpensive helmet. This fit the bill. It was comfortable and I assume it would do the trick protection-wise, should I need it.

....you have to take your glasses off to put it on. What you do with your glasses while you use both hands to put on your helmet is not always easy. Recommended for people who don't need glasses.
