If it is possible to get excited about a toilet seat, this is the one. My bathroom walls are mahogoney wainscoating and I have gone thru 3 wooden toilet seats in 7 years (they splinter and loose their finish). Whatever this on is made of, it is impervious to everything. Plus it is very shiny and gives the bathroom a more elegant look.
