We used it with our first child and will be using it again with our twins. This is fantastic for newborns. The sales brochure is right on with what the intent and use of this is for. I would recommend it, even though it is pricey.

I am so thankful I discovered the baby hammock! I bought this when my son was 7 weeks old. Before the hammock, he would only sleep in the swing or my arms, and only for a few hours at a time. Now he sleeps in the hammock for 6-7 hours at night! The fabric is beautiful and thick, and the construction seems very sturdy. I also like that the hammock from Arms Reach has two springs as opposed to only one I have seen with other hammocks. It is easy to put him in and take him out. Also, Wal-mart has this cheaper than anywhere else online (including EBay). If your baby has sleeping problems, try the Arms Reach Cocoon hammock!!!
