I waited several weeks for this desk to be back "in stock" and it was certainly worth the wait! It is a beautiful piece of furniture and no one would ever guess you paid so little. It had all the features we were looking for and I put a beautiful a black & white circle Taylor accent chair with it that is also available on walmart.com. The assembly was quite detailed and time consuming. It took both myself and my husband to put it together but we took our time to be certain we did it correctly. The desk is such a great addition to our home!

Ordered this desk and was thrilled when it was delivered to the store sooner than expected. Got the desk home opened it up and the desk was cracked in several places. Had to return it to the store. Still debating if I should order another one or look elsewhere.

This computer desk is awesome! It fits everything nicely. The one and only problem I have seen with this desk is that the pull out laptop tray is too low for my computer chair to fit under. Other than that it's a wonderful product! I am currently taking college courses online so I needed a long table space, this desk fits my needs to the max! I definitely recommend this to any one who needs a computer desk.

I have had a very good experience with this product even though the desk top was damaged
I called the company and they sent out a new top. It arrived in two days. They were very pleasant to deal with. The instructions were very well written and easy to follow

As was mentioned in previous reviews it is time consuming to assemble. It took my very capable husband 5 hours to put it together. One part (small support for the hutch) had the guide holes in the wrong spot but other than that all parts were received. The finish is quite fragile and we had to touch up some edges with a sharpie marker after assembly. It looks nice and seems very solid. Overall we are happy with our purchase.

It takes a long time to put this thing together, especially if you're a perfectionist, but once it's together it looks good and works well. I would rather have a top drawer than a laptop drawer, but it's exactly as pictured. This is the type of desk you buy, build, and use for a number of years. You won't move it, you won't hand it down to your kids, but I think it should last at least several years.

Almost completely broken pieces

I like my desk, after my boyfriend put a lot of hard work into building it. He had to first fix the pieces there were barely still together (completely cracked) because they were major pieces. The back of the hitch part looks horrible because there was no decent way to really fix it with out having to cut/paint a whole new piece of wood. It took him many hours to work on the desk... lots of frustration. I am going to enjoy this desk because of all the hard work he put into it, but other than that... it isn't worth it.

It looks fairly nice, but you better not abuse the cheap particle board that lives under the nice laminate. It's a nice piece but really is a pain to assemble. At two hundred bucks, it's not bad, but I wouldn't call it a bargain. My other real-wood desk with minimal assembly only cost a little more at a warehouse store and didn't take 3 hours to assemble. I would not buy it for myself, but it was the style my daughter wanted. I only wish she could have put it together, but as it's only a step or two away from a box of sawdust and some glue, it was a bit much to ask of her.

I ordered this from Walmart, with that in mind I knew it would be made of particle board. Even though the instructions were a little crazy and you really have to read the fine print to make sure you are getting everything in the right step, the desk went together fairly easily. It is a good looking desk for the price.

This desk is beautiful! I love it, it fits right in with the rest of my furniture. It took a while to put together by myself, would not reccomend doing it alone. The directions had a misprint or two, but I was able to sort it out without too much trouble. I also had to spray a little wd-40 to the large drawer rails so that they would slide easier. Overall, very satisfied.

I really like the desk. It was a bit of a challenge to put together but it looks really nice now that it is done. My only complaint is that the hanging file bars do not fit the letter size file holders I have. I will have to buy file holding frames from the office supply store.

I love this desk! The big bottom drawer is a file-drawer, which is fabulous. I did need to insert my own dowels to keep the folders from slipping off the front and back of the provided glides, but I didn't check the hardware pack, so there might be something in there for that. The hutch section is nice, the cord holes and spaces are great. The action is good on all the drawers. The desk is very strong and sturdy, and it really looks nice put together. The back is unfinished, so it needs to go against a wall or other furniture. The slideout (keyboard/laptop tray) is a little weak, but holds either of those light items well. The lift-out feature of the tray is nice especially for a laptop. It took my husband and I 2 hours to put it together, and we are pretty handy people. It was not difficult at all, just time-consuming. There were a couple of steps in the construction that would have been nearly impossible with one person, so recruit a friend!

This arrived site to store. We brought it home and opened it up and it was severely cracked! Thankfully we were able to return it at the store and get our money back. I ordered another and hope it doesn't arrived cracked again! So I will update my review if the we one one arrives in better condition.
