The Evenflo Position and Lock tall gate is an ideal accessory that can help keep children safe. The pressure mounted design of the hardwood frame baby gate is easy to install, and this can be done without damaging your walls or woodwork. The tall baby gate is portable and keeps your baby safe wherever needed, whether in the living room, upstairs in the top floor or in the garden. The Evenflo Tall Gate is expandable from 31" to 50" and can accommodate uneven openings. It provides durability, portability and ease of use. No assembly is required.
Bought this gate for the top of the stairs to keep my cat out of the basement. It works well for that purpose and wedges securely so the cat cannot push it over. Great price as animal gates in pet stores are much more expensive.

The wall rubber (screw) that screws into wood broke on first time out of box. I was going to show the new mother how it worked. WOW things use to be made with wear and care. When I had my kids. Instead of fast and cheap .....Order on line for gift hope Wal Mart will take back

I needed a gate for the deck to confine my 25lb dog and after looking at much more expensive options, I found this at Walmart. It was the only one than fit the space and it works beautifully with the uneven supports ( clapboard wall and deck post ). It is sturdy enough and can be removed quickly and easily. we'll see how it survives the weather, it doesn't specify indoor/outdoor.... but at this price I would buy another one next year.

Bought this to contain my dachshund in the kitchen. He busted it down twice in the first week, even after tightening it another notch (to the point the bar was bowing out). Nice gate, just not for a bionic weiner dog. He was having none of that.

We bought the gate for our extra wide porch doorway, and it is a breeze to set up. Originally, we were just using it for our dachshund, but when my 1-year-old nephew was visiting, it really helped him out. His fingers don't get caught, and it was sturdy enough for him to hang on while he was walking from person to person. A worthwhile investment!

I love the height, which is why I ordered it. My dogs will jump over the shorter ones. As with most gates like this, it is a pain to get the width correct and keep it that way. It does what I need it to do so I will deal with it.

I bought these gates to keep my dog out of my livingroom. The gates hold up to a 6month old terrier. They do the job. They were also not very expensive. Great product.

I am using this gate to keep my puppies in the kitchen which has a slightly larger than a standard door size opening. . . . it fits perfect!! It works especially well for four legged friends because the mesh is wire. I have had the pups chew right through the plastic mesh gates in the past. The one surprise for me was that online this gate was $17 and in the Walmart store I paid $24. Luckily, I had not opened the one I had purchased in the store yet so I was able to return it and enjoy the savings from my online purchase.

Well worth the extra height. We bought it for my dogs but the lower gate always worried me that kids would fall over when leaned on. The height makes it difficult for my dog to bound over.

Does what it's supposed to do. We had difficulty finding a gate that will fit the entrance to our kitchen. The many fancy and expensive gates we tried did not work, even with extensions. We're glad we found this and the price is ok too, wish we had found it earlier.

Yeah yeah, i know. It's wood I get it. But I've only had it for a week! I have two other smaller expandable wooden tension gates that i've used every day for three years and they are fine. Maybe my front door frame is a wonky size or something because it was either too loose or too tight for my door frame. (I've never tried the smaller gates on the front door to see if that's the case). Good looking wooden gate though if it would have worked for me.

Product works good. We needed a gate to keep our child out of an area and keep our small dog in that area. Worked for our situation especially with the odd sized opening. We had this same gate before , just wore it out after 7 years of opening it multiple times a day. Only thing is that I had to remove the 1/4 round on the baseboard to allow the rubber pads on the ends to make contact with the wall. Overall a great and light product for the value.
