Boss Boss Black Fabric Task Chair
This Boss B6105 Task Chair is a fully adjustable seat that provides maximum comfort. When I opened the box I noticed one of the boxes holding parts had been previously ripped open and while pulling out the other parts a broken piece fell out! I didn't find anything broken but this leads me to think this chair had been returned already! You have to remove screws from the seat to attach the swivel base and back, I had to cut the fabric to reveal 2 of the screws and one of the screws would not come out. Even tried an electric drill with a flat head bit and it broke the bit! All in all, this junk is headed back to Walmart in the morning and I don't want a replacement!

Not At All What I Expected!!!!

The picture makes it look like a padded back. It was only cheap, thin mesh for the seat back! The Q & A stated it had a maximum seat height of 24 inches, which was the minimum I needed. It only had a maximum seat height of 22 1/2 inches, and was therefore not useable for what it was purchased for. The instructions were difficult to follow. For instance, it called for screws to screw in the back to the seat. We both looked for a packet of screws, and they were no where to be found. We finally figured out that the screws were screwed into the seat. They had to be removed. Did the instructions tell us that? No! A simple large screwdriver would not remove the screws! Pliers would not even remove the screws! Finally, with great muscle, and scraped knuckles, I was able to remove the screws with very large channel locks!
On the positive side, it seems to be a strong chair. We were able to swap it with another chair so both applications were covered.
The Picture needs to be changed to more clearly show the cheap mesh back. The 22 1/2 inch maximum seat height needs to be correctly stated.
NOT a happy camper on this purchase!

Maybe you should read the description when you buy things. It clearly says mesh back in the description.

Very comfortable chair. I like its ergonomic design. Comfortable for my back and good for my low height. I love that it does not have arm rests so I can take it very close to my desk and work while my legs are totally under the desk. Only negative side is - if you put your hands or legs on side cushions and press hard, you will feel the screws. It won't hurt while you keep sitting on it. But if your feet happens to push the side cushions accidentally, you may get hurt.

I purchased this chair for my husband and he likes it. My husband is a big guy, 6 foot tall and over 300lbs so it gives him the support he needs and doesn't hurt his legs/back. It's comfortable as well. So far it's not sinking down and holding up well.

I have had the chair a few weeks now and I have not found any big issues. I have had fancy chairs with mesh backs and fancy functions or leather chairs, etc. but I am pleased with this because I don't have to fight with arms getting in the way or marring the desk. And the chair was a breeze to put together.

This chair seems to be constructed with good quality products. It appears to be a heavy duty chair. I have not had this chair long enough to see if the hydraulics will hold up. I am confident though that with the 6 year warranty I will be happy with this purchase. As others have stated, the cushion could be a bit thicker however it has not bothered me yet and I sit in it off and on for at least 6 hours per day and weight less than 200 lbs. I love that it does not have the arms so that it can fit under my typing table. The chair is rated for up to 250 lbs and 8 sitting hours per day. It also carries a 6 year warranty. This information is not readily available on all websites that sell this same chair. After much research I decided that this chair was the best value for the money that suits my needs. It is really hard to find a good quality chair for 6 or more sitting hours for less than $200.
I gave 4 stars because of the seat cushion. I can feel the screws with my hand but not while seated.

I was looking for a price efficient comfy chair that wasnt ugly. I got one. This chair didnt cost as much as most, not the cheapest- but it was easy enough to put together, comfy and does the job. I am kinda starting to wish I had gotten the one with arms, but even without its ok. :D

The chair looked good when it arrived, but within 6 months it
brought little more than pain.
The seat has minimal cushioning and the mounting bolts soon
began to penetrate the cushion cover ( and my rear).

I was quite happy to come across this chair on Wal-Mart website. I was looking for one specifically with no arms to save my self room in my small room, and this was perfect. I definitely like the mesh back, and the semi firm padding. It was a breeze to put together, especially with the hand drill I have (also bought at Wal-Mart). It does tilt back some and the adjustable tension is a nice plus (better than my office chair!). Probably wouldn't recommend if you want something ultra plush but it is a perfectly serviceable casual home office/desk chair.

I really like this chair! It came a day earlier than they said and it wasn't hard to put together at all. The only little complaint I will say is that the screws were screwed in too tight so it made it a little difficult to get loose, but I eventually got them. It looks just like it says and works fantatsic. So great buy!
