The TiTech X-GenII Men's Complete Golf Set with Stand Bag is the ideal set for the beginner and occasional golfer, or for someone just looking for great value. With a range of clubs to cover virtually any situation on the course, the TiTech golf set also includes a lightweight bag with automatically deploying and retracting tripod stand. The dual shoulder carry harness provides for balanced weight distribution across the shoulders. The mens golf set can also store balls, tees, accessories and a spare jacket in its bag pockets.
This set is not red and black anymore, they are white with a lime green trim. (Bag and clubs). The driver has a graphite shaft and the rest of the clubs are steel. They are very light weight and are durable. I bought these for my brother (15yrs old), I have a nice set myself that cost much more then these. These TiTech clubs are great value for what your getting. The putter is a mallet type putter and weighted nicely. If you decided try golf or just want a weekender set this is the way to go! If you were to play a lot more with this set, a sand wedge and lob wedge are a must later on.
Good set for the best price!

Great Clubs

I bought these after deciding to take up golf and I have to say that these are great clubs. They have held up to my "corn digging" quite nicely. The driver's shaft is graphite and very floppy, which graphite shafts are supposed to be. But I think that I need a stiffer one because I swing faster than most. The irons appear to be very nice, although I don't know if one can get too much "English" out of a shot. The putter is a mallet style and the grip feels nice in my hands. Although I think a mallet putter for myself is a little much. The grips on the other clubs feel kinda meh...but for this price, the whole set is a bargain. When playing a course with bunkers you will need a sand wedge as this set only include a pitching wedge, which I used exclusively to get on the greens.
Overall a wonderful set, although I've never played with the high-end clubs.

I needed a set to participate in a golf outing. Priced sets at a bunch of chains. This was best value. Using the driver in this set, I was consistantly out driving the guys with drivers that cost 3x as much as this whole set. Very pleased with performance.

I bought these for my sons 17th Birthday, he had out grown his old set and had been using my Cobras, so I thought I would start him off with a cheap set and then he could buy a better set as he saved more money. Cheap is right, the first time he used them the head snapped off the driver which the so called graphite shaft appeared to be plastic! He finished the round with his 3 wood to tee off with, then when we were putting the clubs back in our car we noticed the face of the hybrid was cracked! I dont mean a little crack either you could see inside it! We went straight from the course to Walmart and they refunded our money no questions asked so Kudos to them. When the driver broke I was just going to let it go and buy a better one to replace it but the hybrid sealed the deal these clubs are not worth 99 cents let alone 99 dollars. Buyer beware especially with the manufactures so called graphite shafts. Now patiently waiting for his new Wilson's to be shipped decided if we were going to get what we paid for we better pay more.

The set is well worth the money, don't think you could beat it. Just dont think your getting something in the Taylormade range cause you are not. If you don't want to spend alot of money and play golf once in a while, they should work fine. Save the money for lunch and another few rounds of Golf.

Received this set for Christmas, it had been on sale for $75. I golf on average 1-2 times a year although I may go out more with this set. It is a huge upgrade to my 15 year old clubs. The quality looks average to above average, the golf bag is excellent, the only club I don't like the feel of is the putter, so I will just use my old one. I already had a bag, so my wife wants an upgrade so will use this one. I am average height so I knew I could buy a box set and be fine. You get this all for $75. If I get into the game more I may upgrade but I think this will be a great set for my uses as a casual golfer- a set that I won't be ashamed to go on the golf course with.

I have been playing golf for 7 months, and this was my first set. I am very pleased of how it delivers very accurately. $100 is a very good price and the golf set is not cheap at all. Everything works fine, but I would recommend this product to beginner's only. If you have been playing golf for over a year, then do not buy this set. Has been delivering higher than my expectations. The only thing missing is that you should buy a sand wedge or lob wedge separately, because they are important clubs. But its okay because if those clubs were included, the set would be at least $125. I recommend this product to new players of the great game of golf.

In my opinion, the only thing this set of clubs lacks is an adequate talent from the user, me. They look and feel like quality. I have not played golf in decades, but still remember what clubs should be. I think a top professional could take these clubs and play as good a round as they're capable of. I recently shopped for "good" used clubs, and I conclude that I have gotten as good as those, for an excellent price. Three or four top-quality used clubs would cost as much as this set, and of course new ones would be far more expensive than these..

As someone who golfs once a summer, if that, I did not think it made much sense to spend $300+ dollars on a set of clubs, especially considering I already had an old, beat up set. At first, I just wanted a new golf bag, to look a little more modern on the course, but then I came across these clubs and based on the positive reviews was in. They look great, hit just like any other set of clubs - for those of us who aren't pros - and I am ecstatic with my purchase. I'm telling you - buy them!!

I bought these used (still new in the box) off a friend of mine after the head on my 9 iron Knight clubs flew off that were bought from walmart about 8 yrs ago. They are ok for a beginner not looking to spend alot, but I preferred the knights with the U-cut cavity back (better sweet spot and better accuracy). I used mine about 6 rounds with no club problems. The bag is decent for the set. Since these I bought used Tommy Armours, then finally shelled out a little more for a set of Taylormade Burners. For $100 you cant go wrong, but like a lot of people said, the sand wedge would be nice. Well worth the money

I bought these clubs to get back into the game, and I didnt think I was at the intermediate level yet so I went with this set. I read all the reviews and was a little hesitant due to some of the others and how they described their problems with them. But, after taking these clubs to the range and playing one round so far, I absolutely love these clubs and especially considering the price you pay for them. You get more for your money with these clubs. They perform great and they are solid clubs. I will eventually upgrade the bag because I personally do not like the bags with the stand on them. If you are like me and like to use a cart then I would consider upgrading the bag. It is somewhat hard to strap to the golf cart in fear of breaking the legs off the bag or damaging them in some way. I have broke the legs off a previous bab before. I still wouldnt even consider it a bad thing. These are great clubs, look good, perform great, and are very durable.

I bought this set of clubs for my son as a beginner. After about a 4-5 rounds the 6 iron started cracking right down the middle. I have never seen this before in an iron. It tells me that the clubs are not made with the highest quality.

Cracking Club ....
Posted 09/18/2012
Usually, irons dont crack from use. Usually when a club is worn out if will break all together, such as the club head flying off. When a club cracks up the shaft, its usually more often associated with repeated misuse. IE bad hits of the neck, throwing the club, misuse of the club in general, sometimes forcing your club into the bag could break them, but being made of steel more times then not its from misuse and something hitting the shaft. If the user repeatidly hits balls off the inner portion of the club face which would result in the ball coming in conctact with the base of the neck could cause the shaft to crack. If the club head itself is cracking then either the conditions were not right as in hitting balls in cold weather. OR, maybe the club just was bad, maybe you got a lemon. And, with it only being a $100 set, then chances are greater of you getting a lemon out of the set. All the information i have provided is my own opinion and through my own experiences. I had a set of MCgregors for 10 years and I only ruined one club because I ran over it but then I bought a used Dunlop driver and the club head flew off, it was simply just worn out. These new clubs with hybrid or graphite shafts basically have an experiation date. They say they last longer and are stronger, which in some cases they may be, but in a lot of cases due to the amount of flex these clubs produce in the normal swing, the graphite tends to break down and weaken which results in broken clubs.

I would have given the product 5 stars if it weren't for the grip on the clubs. After a long game you they begin to get oily and leave residue on your hands.

Got hold of these to see if I could even try the sport (now I'm hopelessly addicted).
The only club I had fail was the pitching wedge, due to high-velocity impact with a tree (bad day...xD).
Can't beat the price for a newbie wanting to know if golf's worth playing.
Only one problem: These are standard-length clubs, and they don't even offer longer sets. At 6'1", they're far too short for me, and I really struggle to squat low enough to use the irons well. This has caused inconsistencies in my swing (forcing me to get a custom set). After some research, I figure this set is good for any guy 5'11" or less...or someone tall, but with orangutan arms...xD
If they offered 'tall' clubs, I would've probably just upgraded...these are fine, quality clubs, and I'll pass 'em along with no regrets.

Want to get into golf but don't want to spend a lot of money on a set and then next year not even play so i found these. I took them out to the golf course and the driving range. Once to the range and golfed a total of 30 holes so far. All the clubs besides the driver work AWESOME!! no problems yet. The driver I didn't like when I took it out to the first 18 holes only because I kept hitting it to the right terrible and thought it was the club not me. I took the clubs and went to a golf pro shop and had a lesson and 90 out of 100 balls landed in the fairway!! It was me not the club. Overall these clubs are great haven't (knock on wood) had any club heads fall of or anything bad yet and actually I hit my driver verse my buddy's taylormade $400 driver and mine went 20 yards further then his and he has been golfing for 2-3 years too so GOOD SET FOR BEGINNER!!!

I had played golf for several years. Then had back surgery, that stopped the game for me for 6 yrs. I started playing again 5 months ago. Started out with a great set of Jack Nick. golden bear 450's. One problem I couldn't hit them. So I fought with myself on just what to do. I ended up with these, and man am I glad. I'm hitting the ball about 10 to 15 yards farther off the tee, and my iron game is getting better every time I play. These clubs are not the best clubs you will find, but for a hundred bucks you just can't beat them. Buy a set, and you will see.

I bought my set a couple of months ago and have played with them at least six times on the course, and countless more times at the driving range. I am a beginner golfer, but play with people who have higher end clubs. I drive as far as the majority of them do. I just learned how to not slice the ball when I drive, and I still have very good distance consistently. The irons, 3w, and hybrid are all good. My only negative critique of the set is that it lacks a sand wedge. I had been using a pitching wedge to get out of bunkers, and didn't realize how much of a difference it made until I borrowed one. So now I just use and old hand me down sand wedge for now to complete my set. I would definitely recommend this set to anyone. Great bargain!!
Oh, and I read a couple of reviews about club heads flying off. My buddy has a set of Callaways and a club head flew off of one of his. So I'm sure there are a lot of factors involved as to why that happens.

Review 20 for TiTech X-GenII Men's Complete Golf Set w/Stand Bag (RH)
Not Bad for the Money
,
05/10/2012

While most would probably snub their nose at the prospect of a $99 golf set, this is a $99 golf set worth buying (if that's all you have to spend). I bought this in the hopes of picking up golf again after being out of the game for 15 years and this set only slightly disappointed. To begin, the irons are actually fairly decent with an open cavity design that is forgiving and very playable. The 4/5 hybrid is also an easy to hit club that will help you out on the occasional par 4. The driver and 3 wood are only somewhat useful if you know how to hit either fairly well. If you don't, there aren't any redeeming qualities to these clubs that will drop your jaw. The putter is probably the most worthless club in this set since it's so poorly weighted but fortunately it's easy to compensate for that with a steady motion.
The bag is decent enough although it looks more like a Sunday bag than your typical stand bag. This was also the very first piece out of the set that I replaced. I've finally replaced all of the clubs in this set with more advanced clubs and gave these to a friend to start playing with. I know other people have had club heads flying off and the like but I've never experienced anything coming loose, breaking, etc. and I have a 105mph club head speed. It almost sounds like people are grounding the club which is fairly easy to do when you're new and blaming the quality of the set. Again, the quality on this set is phenomenal for what you pay for it.
There is a caveat to all of this however. If you've never played before in your life, there shouldn't be any reason to spend more on a set of clubs. You'll definitely be able to learn one way or the other if you're going to like playing golf by using these clubs. If you don't, you've saved yourself a ton of money by buying these. If you do like playing, you can undoubtedly start replacing clubs one at a time. But, if you have played before, you will probably want better clubs after the first 2-3 weeks of using these. I don't regret buying this set since I would rather be out $99 than $599 if I didn't end up ever using them.
