I haven't used it very much yet, but it was simple to setup and get started. I haven't figured out how to scan more than one page in a document that has two or more pages and not sure if it is even possible with this unit. So far, I love it!

No problems, great price. The ship to store is the way to go. You then deal only with a trusted retailer like Walmart. So you can live in the deep country and still have purchasing power. The scanner's ability to function in some demanding circumstances has been excellent. This is my 3rd scanner in 15 years and the best is yet to come.

We (5 person office) bought this to scan customer contracts to archive along with sending a scanned copy to the customer. For the price we paid I am not that impressed with the speed or ease of use of this scanner. We have a cheap (less than $50) all in one Canon machine that has a scan quality just as good as this one. This scanner is also fairly large in size but does not offer any larger scan capabilities than comparable machines. The software included with this machine is about the same as other machines I have used. In summary for the price, this is just an average scanner.

This was a replacement for my dead scanner, has a few more bells and bang than the cannon it replaced. It was up and running in 10 minutes and does eveything it's totated to do. Nice features for fixing those old and less than perfect pictures. I've scanned about 150 + photos, line art, and documents so far without any problems. Easy to use but documentation is very vague, no problem as I have used scanners for over 15 years and pretty much needed the button-ology only.

I originally looked up this product for a friend. His old scanner had breathed its last, so he needed one to do his online business. I loaned him my Scanjet, but it didn't have any depth of field, so the 3d objects he scanned didn't look very good. So I read product info on several scanners, and NONE of the others mentioned 3d objects. When I read the details on the V30, it looked so good, I wanted one too. My Scanjet now sits in a box in the closet, waiting for a yardsale I'm going to have someday. The V30 ROCKS!! And the scanner arrived in 2 1/2 days!

This Epson flatbed scanner is easy to use and high quality results. You load the software cd and it does the rest, very simple, just plug in USB port. I bought it for uploading family photos for online ancestry site and personal use. Also you can scan documents and convert to a pdf. using the free version of Adobe acrobat reader and email as an attachment rather than worry about having to fax anything. I am very pleased with this purchase. It is longer (bigger) than I thought but very thin. It is extremely easy to use for even beginners and I think it is "idiot proof" so you dont need to worry about making a mistake.

I initially installed scanner to my MacBook Pro; however, I could not get the icon to show. After 2 hours of troubleshooting, I went ahead and installed in my PC. It was a breeze. Setup was easy and quick.

For not allot of money this scanner is proving to be quite a value. So far we have scanned hundreds, probably over 1000 pictures and some documents and flyers. It scans quickly, the scanning surface is large enough to scan almost everything we've done in one pass, and the quality of the scans is excellent! Pictures, coins, concert tickets, birth certificates - color, black & white, doesn't matter. It has done a great job with everything we've thrown at it. The software that comes with it is pretty easy to figure out too. I highly recommend this flatbed scanner!

Documentation somewhat confusing, but adequate. Some errors between Startup instructions and CD but they were resolved. Device functions well, and I like the low-power scanning lamp.

I bought this hoping it would be compatible with Vista 64-bit and as we all know, hardware is very unforgiving when it comes to compatibility... So I bought this when I saw Vista compatibility. Thankfully, I was right on my guess, so for your Vista 64-bit users, you can rest assured on this!!
I was very surprised with how fast this came and I set it up within 10 minutes of opening the package.
My God, this scanner scanned like a dream!! I had bought this scanner primarily to scan my drawings, and this scanner scans so well that the textures of the sketchbook, which were not noticeable when I scanned on different scanners, showed up!! It surprised me with the quality!! I've attached a drawing with my review to show you.
I'll be honest and mention that I haven't tried to scan negatives, but I'm positive that I will be just as surprised as I was with the sketchbook scan!
In point, this scanner was probably one of the best purchases I have made yet! :)
