Brother Brother GX-6750 Portable Electronic Typewriter
Get your typing work done easily with the Brother GX-6750 Electronic Typewriter. This is an entry-level portable daisywheel typewriter with several useful features. The Perfectype professional touch keyboard makes typing faster and efficient. You can also view the typing line with the view mode. The automatic correction system includes a 65 character lift-off memory, word out, and automatic relocation after correction. It also has several formatting features including line indent, automatic underlying, bold typing, and right margin flush. This Daisy Wheel typewriter provides a typing speed of up to 12 characters per second. Weighing about 10 pounds, it is easy to carry and has a good carrying grip. It is simple and easy to get started with this typewriter. The self-demo feature demonstrates all the features and functions for you to understand. This portable typewriter makes typing easier with a lot of functional features that you will greatly appreciate.

This was a gift for mother who has a P.C., but being in her 80's she is much more comfortable using a typewriter for correspondence. This light weight, easy to use, has loads of features and ia perfect for my Mom./

Thanks, Walmart for stocking this typewriter. It is light weight, easy to operate and in this day and age when everything goes by computer, it is gratifying to know you have something that can help with typing envelopes, filling out forms, etc. Many thanks and a great find. I am very disappointed in this typewriter. I purchased it on May 23, 2012 and am told that it is in need of repairs as something to do with the plate--am not able to feed the checks that I type into the typewriter. I had a Royal Academy for 30 years and never had a problem with until it finally gave out. It is sad that things are not made like to use to before it had to be repaired. I feel like I bought a lemon.

Purchased this typewriter to replace an old Brother word processor. I have found this to do the same operations the processor did. I am a Custom Knifemaker and use the typewriter to make stencils to be electrochemicaly etched on the knife blade. Works great.

I had used a Brother GX-6750 Portable Electronic Typewriter for many years. It worked very well. Eventually it is down on me. I think it is a better idea to buy a new one than to have it repaired. Because I had good experience with this typewriter, I bought another one. But this time I got a lemon. The roller can not grip paper. The paper won't feed in when I turn the roller. After I compared with the broken one I had, I found one of the parts which grip the paper is missing. I have to return the product. I like the typewriter, unfortunately I got a lemon this time.

The use of the typewriter has become outdated for most but for those who need to resort to the antiquated version of word processing, and the desire to complete projects with the benefit of todays typesetting advantage, this is the best thing available. My 6 year old asked... What is that thing anyway? Lol...

We've had this for a couple of weeks and seems to be a good typewriter. We don't use it alot, just for individual labels and an occasional envelope. The other Brother we had quit after 12+ years and we replaced it with this Brother. Very lightweight and being it's an almost exact replica of the old one, is easy to figure out how to use (with the Code keys, for example). Keys feel very "loose" and wiggle easily, so I almost expected them to fall off! (Also why I gave it only 4 stars) For the value and what we use it for though, it's perfect.
