I returned the product. You have to hit the keys pretty hard and they stick. I purchased the HP DT528AT ABA Easy Access Standard Keyboard and it is great.

Good keyboard, good price

I recently needed a new keyboard, and wanted a multimedia one, with sound controls on it. I bought a different one, but didn't think about the placement of the ins/del/home/end keys. I could not adapt to the different arrangement.
So I ordered this one. I'm quite happy with it. I like the feel of the keys, and the key arrangement is what I'm used to. I've found I love the calculator button, which I hadn't expected.
One minor drawback, it's harder to tell the function keys from the play/pause and volume keys above them without looking, as they're they same height and shape, but I'll probably get used to that. I do wish it had forward and back keys for multimedia, as the other keyboard did. But overall I'm very happy with the purchase.

Sure, it's not the quietest keyboard out there, but I can absolutely guarantee you will not find a better value. For what you pay, you get a significantly quieter keyboard than the loud "click-clacks" on the market, and the next step up will cost you about a hundred bucks more. We had a pretty snazzy Dell keyboard in the hallway down from our room where the family computer used to be, and the darn thing was so loud, it would wake me up every night any time someone was on it (cursed as a light sleeper). Then I read about this Microsoft keyboard on-line and was surprised by the price (I actually bought it half expecting that it was useless). No regrets, best thing for the money.

I installed the keyboard and immediately used it with no problem. I was pleased at the time. A WEEK LATER THE KEYBOARD WOULD NOT OPERATE PROPERLY. NO SPACE, NO "B" NO "N"

great basic keyboard

A great basic keyboard for those who don't need lots of bells and whistles, but who are limited in space. It's got a nice sturdy feel to the keys, low profile keys, and has basic volumn controls. It's a great little keyboard.
