I bought this chair for my mother who has trouble stepping over the tub and showering. She has said that this chair has helped her by having something to hold on to for leverage while entering and exiting the tub and has made showering easier for her. I recommend this product to people who have a slight problem with balance and have a need to do things for themselves.

This shower chair is very good quality and works really well in a shower stall. Make sure you know the dimensions of your shower or tub because it is very wide and does not fit in my bath tub.
