The Waste King L-3300 Legend Series Food Waste Disposers turn higher RPMs than other brands. Permanent magnet motors "Vortex" power the waste king disposers. These energy high-speed motors are efficient in liquefying food waste similar to how a blender liquefies food. Producing more power per pound than any other disposer, this motor also virtually eliminates jamming. A jam wrench is an obsolete piece of equipment in this continuous feed disposer, as the exclusive 180- degree stainless steel swivel impellers reduce jamming. All units include corrosion proof grinding chambers that ensure long lasting performance being constructed with the most durable glass filled nylon. This design eliminates "Dishwasher Connection Rot". Every waste king disposal unit features a front mounted reset button which is easy to locate and use. For properly sized system, our units are septic safe, making it environmentally friendly.
This Waste King is replacing an old noisy contractor grade InSinkErator who's housing rusted out. The Waste King housing is fiberglass so it can't rust ever. This model was cheaper and more powerful than it's predecessor and it is remarkably quieter. Installation was easy enough and took about an hour.

Review 2 for Waste King Food Waste Disposer, L-3300 3/4 HP, EZ-Mount
The order process through Walmart was fast and flawless. Unfortunately, the problems started during the installation process. My old 5/8 HP Insinkerator started leaking after 17 years of service. I opted to purchase the Waste King 3000 model based on the low price and on-line reviews. The installation of the unit up until positioning the unit in place was very easy. When it came time to attach the unit to the mount ring, then the problems began. First, it was impossible to attach the unit as directed. After working on trying to attach it for over two hours, I called a plumber. The plumber also could not get the unit to attach to the mount ring as directed. He had to modify the cushion mount to be able to eventually mount the unit. What appeared to be a good value turned into a more expensive item than purchasing the higher quality Insinkerator model. I would not recommended buying the Waste King 3300.

Review 3 for Waste King Food Waste Disposer, L-3300 3/4 HP, EZ-Mount
I have to say the reviews on this site were the reason I purchased this item. I like many others have trouble turning the water on never mind taking out a sophisticated piece of machinery and replacing it with another. I spent 30 minutes familiarizing myself with the Waste King (can't help but think of Homer Simpson's Snow Plow King), the next day I had it in place in under an hour. It's been three week and its still standing and no water leaks. As far as this machine goes - I looked at Home Depot and Lowe's and nothing looked like a better deal than what Waste King offers. The price is great on this website, I did the middle shipping and it was delivered to the house a day early. The drain is a little tighter than the old disposal, but I can work around that because it makes a quarter of the noise and it doesn't shake the house when I turn it off.

Review 4 for Waste King Food Waste Disposer, L-3300 3/4 HP, EZ-Mount
I've only had it installed for a few days, so I have no comment on reliability long term. I ordered it online for store pickup, but it took almost a week longer to get than I was originally told. Not a big deal. Installation was easy enough. Hardest part was getting the old one out, especially the ring fitting that goes into the sink. I used a strap wrench on that, finally. Other tools were your basic hammer/pliars/screwdriver/teflon tape/plumbers putty. Total install time was maybe an hour, since I haven't done one of these before. It was pretty straight forward to do. The disposer isn't that heavy and the instructions are clear, mostly. Once hooked up, the unit works very well. I haven't put bones or anything like that through it, but regular food waste goes through easily. And this unit is very quiet - much more so than the old one I had, which was 1/2 hp. Minimum vibration too, which is a plus. The one I got plugs in under the sink into a GFI, so I didn't have to do any wiring for it, tho instructions are given if you have to hard wire it. The ratings I gave it are based on the fact that I haven't had it long enough to rate it long term. If it hold up over time, I'd rate it excellent for my needs.

Review 6 for Waste King Food Waste Disposer, L-3300 3/4 HP, EZ-Mount
The Insinkerator that the builder installed seven years ago just didn't turn on one day. The wrench would turn & it wasn't frozen. It wouldn't reset. Their "help line" said it was probably toast. Once I got it out I saw the case had cracked allowing water near the electric parts which I assume led to the failure. I was lead to the Waste King by Consumer Reports. Walmart.com was the only place i could find one so I ordered it. It came in a week or so. I picked it up at the store. Pretty easy install and much quiet than the old 1/2 hp Insinkerator.

Review 7 for Waste King Food Waste Disposer, L-3300 3/4 HP, EZ-Mount
I'm very happy with this garbage disposal, but one warning: READ THE INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY before installing, especially how to install the rubber cushion seal. It's easy to install it wrongly, which will not allow for securing the disposal body. If done properly, it's a piece of cake.

The disposal installed easily and is very quiet. The sink mount is the easiest I have ever seen, probably installed in 20 minutes. Smaller throat opening than the prior disposal. Bought site to store and was great and early.

Review 9 for Waste King Food Waste Disposer, L-3300 3/4 HP, EZ-Mount
My home is over thirty yrs old and still had the original Waste King but need to replace it not because it stopped working but because the grinding fins inside have rotted away! That's a good thing because usually the motor will quit first! I trust the Waste King name and I think this one will last even longer than the old one since they are probably making them better and more efficient then there predecessors! I think the name "Waste King" speaks for itself!

Review 10 for Waste King Food Waste Disposer, L-3300 3/4 HP, EZ-Mount
A great disposal, quiet and inexpensive. High consumer reports rating and best price I could find. Been using for several weeks. Only minor annoyance is that the drain opening is a little smaller than my last one. My hand cannot reach into this one if something falls in. Maybe that is a good thing.

Review 13 for Waste King Food Waste Disposer, L-3300 3/4 HP, EZ-Mount
I was hesitant at first with not knowing if this was a quality product, but was pleasantly surprised by how good the quality of it was, and the ease of installation. The EZ-Mount was really nice and it took me longer to remove the old disposal (1/3 horsepower) than to install the new one. It's got plenty of power and is actually lighter than my old disposal (must be a better motor). I've only had it for a month, but so far it has been great, and you can't beat the price and quality!

Review 14 for Waste King Food Waste Disposer, L-3300 3/4 HP, EZ-Mount
The unit we purchased from Walmart met all our expectations, and works very well. Walmart had the lowest price on this unit, so that too was a good point, in favor of shopping Walmart! We were able to replace a smaller unit with this one, with no problem in installation.
We had the item delivered to the store, so we had to pay no shipping charges. Walmart gave us the delivery date, and they delivered right on time. We have not had any problem buying items though the Walmart internet site.

Great, long lasting disposers, my mom's lasted 30 yrs she said. I was able to install it and I stink at home improvement. Plenty of power, much better than the 1/2 hp we had previously. And it's a great value compared to what you get from your local home improvement store.

Good reviews online, goo price and a 10 year warrenty. Installed it about a month ago myself. The hardest part was getting the cord off so I could hardwire it, because the cord is moulded to the disposal. Hopeing I don't have to use the great warrenty.
