Took me a while to figure out how to get the monitors to clone together,( I'm not real computer sauvy ) but once done it works great. Have had it hooked up for about 3 days with no problems.

I tried so many different cords and could never get the sound and video to work simulatenously. This cord works perfect and was extremely easy to set up. I definitely recommend this product. The sound and picture quality is excellent!

I'm using this cable to stream Amazon instant videos from my laptop to my TV. It was super easy to install, works very well with no interruption in the video or audio. On similar cables the audio cable was too short to reach to the audio jack on my laptop, however the audio cable on this one is long enough. Like another reviewer said, be sure to tighten the cable screws to avoid interruption...I used a small pliers to do this. You can't beat the value and price.

Monitor Cable for HDTV viewing of Online TV Shows

I have been utilizing the converter box to look at all TV shows. I have not had cable service in over 12 years. I purchased a 47" TV from Walmart during Thanksgiving. I read some reviews that indicated you could watch online TV shows with an HDTV combined with the right cable. Well, I connected the cable to my TV and computer. I was able to view my church service online instead of on my small laptop. I attend the early AM service and like to look at the mid-AM service online at home. It worked perfectly. Also......Another favorite show that's on cable, White Collar, on USA network; I can now watch the full episodes online for FREE, no cable service needed. Many TV shows are online that people can watch on their HDTV. Google ABC Online, CBS Online, NBC Online, USA Network etc. and see what shows are online. Save the links to your Favorites/Favorites Bar on your computer for quick access. You do not see all the commercials like on regular TV; but their are a few commercials/advertisements that pop up. I do not care. This is the trend for most folks now to watch TV online via their HDTV (at a time more convenient for them). It's wonderful. I purchased 2 Belkin monitor cables. One for my present TV in the family room and one for my 'future' TV in the bedroom. I noticed this item sells out fast; so Belkin is a great brand and I wanted to stay with them. FYI...The cable is short; therefore you will need to have the TV in close range to your laptop/computer. My 47" TV is wall mounted over the fireplace; so I just sat my laptop on the fireplace mantel. Just measure your distance between the TV port and PC port connections.

I'm using this cable to connect my laptop to my flat-screen TV on the wall. I wish the cable wasn't quite so bulky and heavy, but the screws keep it secured to the TV. I like that I can now view my laptop monitor on the TV.

Change your TV settings & Restart

1. You must be sure to change your tv input setting to whatever is on your tv.
2. Restart laptop and (turn off then power on) TV while connected.

My TVs input setting is RGB for it to work. The other TV I have directly says VGA. When I got mine last week, I ran into a similar snag. Once I changed my input setting it didn't change. Then I restarted the laptop and BOOM , all systems go!

Great Pc/Laptop to TV product

I bought this product to connect my laptop to TV so my family and I can watch movies and do other fun things as a family via laptop. After seeing the photo and reading reviews, I was skeptical for a few reasons.
1) I was unsure if the audio cord was long enough and suitable for a side or back port. The length was perfect for both! It is actually 22 inches from where it splits.
2)A few reviews stated that the product didn't work for Vizio televisions. I bought 2 of these; 1 for a Viore 32' and 1 for a Vizio 46'. The product worked perfectly for both. When using it with the Vizio, I had to be sure to plug the audio cable in the audio slot directly next to the main port in the RGB section. For the Viore, I had to be sure to plug audio into the PC AUDIO slot, oppose to the headphones jack (which I initially did with no sound!).
3) A few reviewers stated their product worked on their Vizio but with intermittent disruption and blinking of the picture. This was the case at first but, after screwing the screws in tightly, it cleared up the issue!

Those were my main concerns with purchasing this product and I am happy to report that this is a great product! I would definitely recommend this VGA/UXGA cable to anyone looking for one.
