My son is 12 years old to be 13 by September, about 5.2 105 pounds and growing. Most catchers gear for youth are made for 9 to 12 years old but this intermediate model is perfect for youth becoming teenagers.
Very nice quality including a very roomy bag where my son carries even his bat and cleats.
I will recommend this item to anybody that has a kid ages 12 and up.

12-yr old daughter uses this set and it is very nice. The extra padding inside the shin guards was a nice surprise and the quality overall is excellent.
