I was given this book by a cousin. Sarah Young, the author, has written it in such a great way you feel Jesus has taken your hand and will lead you thru the day no matter what you face. I have since tried to pass them on to others. We all need a helping hand.

I gave it as a gift and the elderly lady was very happy with it. She had done two months of daily readings in a week! The cover is leather and handsome, lasting book for the coffee table or shelf.
This is not a Bible based book on doctrine, but personal conversations with Jesus by a missionary. People struggling, looking for inspiration will get a lift from it.

The leather covered book was wrapped in a paper envelope (not plastic lined, like most mailer envelopes). Delivery time was fantastic (three days before stated delivery date, so not expecting that day). Even though there was an unlocked storm door @ front door or a covered carport and door 20 feet away, the delivery carrier left package lying flat on front steps in the rain. I was not home on day of delivery (see statement above -won't be delivered for 3 days). Item was soaked through. After drying out, cover is warped and pages wrinkled with some print bleeding. This was purchased as a present for my wife --not acceptable now. Sorry that I expected professional behavior by companies involved. Won't use home delivery again...

As a Christian, I have read numerous devotional books, but this one is the first one that truly feels like Jesus is speaking to you. I find myself going back and rereading it several times throughout the day. I have bought around 20 of them for gifts for friends! My daughter was in a severe car accident and later underwent brain surgery. When I found it hard to find words to pray or where to find comfort in scripture, this book spoke to me in my time of need. I would highly recommend it.

This is the most incredible devotional I have seen or used! It is life-changing! I have given 15 copies away to my family (Mom, brother, sisters, daughters, and grandchildren) and friends, as well as to other people who are experiencing difficult challenges and are discouraged. I read the daily reading and the scripture readings every morning as soon as I rise. Walmart offers the deluxe edition and the regular edition at a much lower cost so it is easy to share with loved ones. Every person I know who has a copy, has had a life-changing experience. This includes my 10 year old grandson!
The deluxe edition offers a beautifull presentation for the messages. I highly recommend this devotional!

Wonderful, quick & easy daily devotional with such impact. I just bought this in December for my dear friend for her Christmas gift and for myself to follow in the New Year 2012. It is amazing. Both my friend and myself say that it speaks directly to us each day and brings a peace, comfort & blessed assurance only our Lord can provide.
I just picked up another copy to send to my adult son in North Carolina. He heard my rave review and said to send it his way, too.
