I have not yet run this motor in a river on my boat, but will shortly. That said it is a 50 watt electric salt water sealed motor for only $199 that cost $700 elsewhere. I will update in a coupe of weeks.
Get one while you can!

I use this on my Sea Eagle SE-9, that is solar powered and the only motor I have. Every one needs a spare prop at all times.

The Extra Prop is just "in case".
The WATERSNAKE Tracer FWT is a good value for the Money. My concerns are: Compaired DIRECTLY to a Minn Kota 50 lb:
The WaterSnake is not as "quiet" as the Minn Kota
the prop is not as "Weedless"
The two speed Reverse provides TOO MUCH thrust in LOW Speed
The little "Power On Indicator Light" on top is usless (minnor "complaint")

The stores should stock up these as well other type props. It should be available in stores. I also wonder if its availabe in stainless steel.
