Surprising Quality & Features,

I’m reviewing this camera based on its features, rather than its cost. It was a gift so I did not know the price. I came here only because I did not then know the instruction manual was on the CD that came with it. After studying that, I figured out what it does and how to use it. This is a very good digital camera and I have used quite a few.

The macro feature (photos within 8” of a small item) comes out stunning. I have to use this for some of my eBay items. It is very important for me to have very good photos and this camera is outstanding in that regard. I take two or three shots and take the best of them. Sure it will take a blurry photo, but that is my fault, not the camera.

I’ve read the bad reviews, but let me say that half of my job is manipulating photos for advertisement using Photoshop and it is critical to have them look great. In general, people do not take great pictures. If everyone used this camera and used the proper settings under the proper conditions, I would not have a job.

Put this way, a camera is only as good as the photographer. It is a machine and you are in control of it. Just like a TV, if you don’t set it to the right channel, you won’t get to watch what you want.

Now that I know the price, I will put it up to the quality my last camera had which was about 5 times the price. When I lost it (it was stolen), I lost 5 times the money this one cost. The only thing I wish is that it had come with a small printed manual, so that I could have read it when not at a computer, or taken it to a place where I would be able to refer to it. I might add that I would prefer a black to white finish, because it could become stained after a while.

I took a photo of a small whale pendant against a piece of velvet. The camera took a very sharp impression to where you can see the fabric that makes up the piece of cloth. Pretty amazing. One of an emerald ring was flawless.

I really like this camera. It holds a charge very well I got this for christmas and have used it a relatively good amount to show pics as well as take pics. Have only had to charge once since i got it
very easy to download pics to my pc and takes very nice pics.

Not so bad,

This camera DOES take regular batteries and also comes with rechargable batteries to use. It is very lightweight. Takes easy pictures. Is very easy to use. Pictures seem good. I have not had any problems with it taking blurry pics which is what my old Sony digital took and it cost 200 bucks. I think this is a good value for the money. You cannot expect perfection for $80 bucks. If you dont like it save your receipt and take it back!

Good Camera!,

Camera is very lightweight and easy to use. It feels a bit "plasticy", but that's what makes it lightweight. Pictures are crisp, and not overly sharp. Settings are slightly less userfriendly, but if you wanna point and shoot straight out of the box, this is a good camera.

Got this camera for my mother -in-law for christmas!! Got it out of the box, popped in the batteries and started using. Makes awesome pics. Easy to use too. She loves it.

My Dream come true,

I have wanted a camera for a long time and finally I found one that I could afford! The only thing that I do not like is the fact that it does not have a book with it to tell you how to run the thing! It has a cd with but that does you no good if you are out somewhere taking pictures. It is a very good camera for the money but hard to try to learn how to run it by trial and error.

All around...Not a good Camera!,

This camera is ok for regular pictures. I was expecting high quality pictures (12mpixels) but instead received the same quality as my old camera which was an 8mp. I think my old camera even took BETTER pictures. Color of pictures is bad. Not an automatic anti-blur camera. Doesn't take regular batteries (Duracell, Energizer...), just the ones that come with the camera (recharable - not sure if eneloop only) I bought it yesterday and am taking it back today:(
