I would not recommend theses to a newbie they are very fast and if your not used to skating inline then I would not get these. I never could get use to the heaviness of the boot and there was no support my ankle kept leaning inward. I returned these but if you can skate with inline skates then this is for you if not then I would get the quad wheels.

Excellent product. Really liked the leather and name brand wheels and parts. Not like the normal roller blades made of plastic, these are meant to last.

I'm a 47yr old mother with an 8 yr old daughter. I wanted to try out these inline skates. Being used to the classic style. It takes some getting use to at first. But was able to not lose my old school skating techniques. I found these inline skates to be alot more smoother to glide with more ease and speed. My daughter also liked the colors on my skates and wanted some in her size. No luck with that one. My ankle straps stayed secured without loosening unlike those plastic straps which has a tendency to loosen while in use. The price was excellently affordable. And with me having thick legs are very comfortable. Where thick supportive socks or wear a couple of pairs.
