Finally, a product that holds more than 200 dvds and is less than $60. I love this shelving unit. I was afraid that it might be too big and bulky, but it actually doesn't take up much space at all and looks beautiful in my home. I love it! If I ever need one again, I'm going with this one.

I also am using this for dvd's only and managed to fit five shelves, or sections including the bottom shelf. I purchased 2 of this item and they were very easy to assemble. It took me no more than 20 minutes each to put them together. I plan on buying at least two more, as my dvd collection is ever growing.

I had two of these and wanted to pick up a third one. For the price it's a great shelf. The first two I have are around 3 years old and have held up well. They have been loaded with books and DVD's and none of the shelves have bowed. They're easy to put together and the instructions are straightforward.

The first thing to mention is that this holds a lot of CD's and the shelves are configurable. It looks descent, especially from a distance. On close inspection the back is made from a folded cardboard, and this is typical "low quality user assembled furniture" (think IKEA), but at the price I paid ($35), that is what I expected. I wouldn't be surprised if the shelves will start to sag with time if fully loaded but I can brace them with something if that happens.
Assembly was easy with printed directions, note that you will have to hammer over 20 little nails into the back.
Overall I am very satisfied with what you get for the price. No, this is not a piece of furniture you would want to display prominently in your home, but it serves it's function well and was very inexpensive.

Funtionally good, misleading color description

With a color description of Cinnamon-Cherry, I expected this rack to be a deep auburn-brown. However when pulled out of the package, its only about 1 or 2 shades away from black. Not worth the hassle to return because its still functional as a DVD rack.

its pressed wood so it tends to peel apart, the back is paperboard thin and flimsy shows gaps but once the media tower is full you will not see it, it can tip over so I would fasten it to a wall or something it looks nice but keep it away from wet areas as it is pressed wood it will swell up and crumble and as you nail the back panel make sure you nail it in the middle mine split on a couple because I did not have the nails centered and once you miss the wood will separate and fall apart in pieces and then the nice look is gone! for DVD's you use only 4 out of 6 shelves do not throw away you might want to use them later if you decide to use this for other then a media tower. I would buy again but I know what I payed for and I would use it more for DVD's then anything else it fits DVD's like a glove, I have mine almost full but have not counted them but I think its close to the 280 mark but would say 200 most likely depends on the DVD's used a box set is more like three (3) DVD's depending on the box set used so keep this in mind the 280 is for single disc only, I hope this helps BTW not really worth the $35 + tax as it is not real wood! its pressed wood easily falls apart ! but for use as a media tower it looks and works good!

Tower is very easy to assemble and looks great. Took me about an hour with the longest part being the nailing of the back to the frame. I'm handicapped and had to sit on the floor and scoot around. I am very pleased with this purchase and would recommend it to anyone needing extra shelves. My only "bad" comment is: in spacing the shelves to accomodate my DVD's left me with two shelves left over. To stand DVD's upright only four can be used. DVD cases come in varying width sizes and I was able to put approximately 225 on the 5 shelves.

Good DVD shelf

So Far, so Darn good. This was extremely easy to put together. Took about 20 to 30 minutes, more like 30 actually. Put my DVD's in it, and I'm happy. Only thing I would knock is, if your using this for DVD's, in order to space out the shelves far enough apart for DVD's to fit, you will have 2 extra shelves left over. They should have made the unit taller so you could utilize the last 2 shelves, instead they're fire wood now. Unit is a lot smaller then the picture, but for the price, guess you can't really complain. I'm happy with the purchase over all.

I bought two. they look great and went together easily and quick. They are the perfect size for vhs, cds, dvds and paperback books . If you put the dvd in a paper holder it will hold thousands.

This was perfect for what I needed! I have a lot of DVD's and VCR's and needed something that would hold a lot of them. I also don't have a lot of room and this took minimal space against a wall. It is attractive and so easy to put together. I had it shipped to Wal-Mart and picking it up was simple. Also great price!!

Not too hard to assemble, just take your time lining up the back before nailing it in. Seems to be made for CD sized media. With two shelves of VHS/DVDs and one shelf of Nintendo cartridges, the other four shelves can only hold small cartridges (SNES/N64). Looks bigger in stock photos than you'd think.

I purchased this multimedia storage tower to store my large DVD collection. I didn't count how many exactly it holds, but I would say over 200. It's sturdy enough and looks good. The dark cinnamon cherry color almost looks black from a distance, so if you have place pieces it will match for the most part. For the price you can not go wrong.

I actually bought this to use as a book shelf. It turned out to be perfect for me. I was able to put my hard cover books as well as my paperbacks on it. My husband put it together for me in less than 30 minutes.
