I wanted a small desk simply to hold my computer and printer. This is not the desk for you if you are looking for work space as well as computer space as it is quite small. The different levels of shelves and the cupboard make it very fun and visually appealing. Overall, it is very sturdy and solid feeling.

When my husband was putting it together a piece of wood cracked and he wasn't forcing the nail in. I think I would buy better quality next time. Cheap is not always good!

Easy to put together and very solid. It is perfect for my needs. Consolidates everything perfectly. The main desktop piece had a crack in the veneer, and I called Sauder and they had a new piece sent to me in 2 days, no questions asked. Also they told me there was no need to send the defective piece back to them. For the money you can't go wrong. If you are looking for a solid good looking cheap desk this is the one for you.

It took about 1 & 1/2 hours to put together with the help of a friend. Once together it looks beautiful in my living room. It brings organization to a very unorganized space! Everything fits on the desk,my pc,key board,tower & printer! I am very pleased with it & so is my daughter.

We bought 2 and were afraid when we started assembling them that they wouldn't be sturdy enough for the computers. But once assembled (and that was pretty easy too), they were more than sturdy enough. I love them, my son and husband have matching computer tables and I got some black paint and painted the backsides and you can't even tell that you are looking at the back of the desks in our living room. Really cute and sturdy and pretty easy to assemble. Takes 2 people to assemble and the drawer is a little confusing, but managed to get it right.

This desk is pretty much perfect for what i Needed it for, but it was a little more cheap looking than I thought a Sauder product would be. Edges are just a little rough for my liking, but it looks pretty nice other than that. The keyboard drawer is a little skinny for my keyboard but for the price its just fine. Not much storage but I knew that when I chose it. Delivery was quick and easy and only cost 8 bucks. Overall I'd do it again :)

i bought this desk for my grandchildren and it more than met my expectations! it is well made and my older computer, that i gave them to play games on, fit on it perfectly, with plenty of room to spare. the color was a little darker than i expected, not quite the cherry finish on the other furniture that is in their room but it still looks nice. i would very much recommend this to anyone. for the price, u just can't go wrong. it also was easy for my husband to assemble.

This is the third piece of furniture that I have purchased and assembled. I love the ease of instructions provided, easy to follow and to understand. Walmart has some of the Student desk in stock and also you can order online. I ordered this Sauder Student Desk on line and the item was shipped in just a few days, no broken or scratched pieces. My son put it together in about 45 minuets. This is a perfect desk for a student or a small apartment that has limited space for furniture and the main thing that impressed me was the price. The product is very heavy, take precaution when assembling it. Then just enjoy!

I got the dark brown. It is exactly what I wanted. No more bending down to turn the CPU on. Sturdy. Relatively easy to assemble. Good directions. I would highly recommend it to anybody that wants a desk that doesn't over power the room; but holds everything very neatly. I love Sauder and Walmart! WTG
