Remington Remington Wire Kennel, Large, 42"x28"x31"
The Remington Wire Kennel is ideal for crate training. The pet carrier accommodates Springer Spaniels, English Setters, Brittany Spaniels and any other similar size dogs up to a maximum height of 27 inches and maximum weight of 70 pounds. This kennel serves as a secure and comfortable home for any pet while on the move. The black wire dog kennel is made from electro-plated durable steel making it strong and long lasting. The kennel comes with a FDA approved heavy duty plastic tray allowing easy cleaning. This large pet crate can be easily folded in few seconds that makes transportation easy. The carrier door comes with a dual sliding mechanism which provides extra safety and security while on the move. This carrier is easy to assemble and does not require any tools.

I have a one year old border collie that was wreaking havoc on our backyard while we were gone to work. I worried that she could tear up this kennel, but she has not. She even likes to go in it. The price was so much lower than any other that I have seen. The quality is good. It is sturdy and easily folds away.

This was absolutely what we needed for our 3 month old lab. Already crate trained, she needed a bigger space and we needed something portable for going on vacation and to grandma's. This was easy to assemble and holds her perfectly, with lots of room to grow.

One word for this wire crate = cheap! My dog is a 75lb italian mastiff, and he was able to open the front latches repeatedly. We also zip tied the sides and front, and he still was able to get out. If your dog is totally tame and has zero separation anxiety, this crate might work.
We went to one of the hard plastic crates and had no problems from there on out.

Roomy enough for an 80lb Lab or more. This kennel is perfect for my good-natured Lab, but probably won't be sturdy enough if you have a crazy escape artist.
Also, the latches don't secure the door as well as I'd like.
Would I recommend? Yes ... with the right kind of dog. Especially, given the very low price for the size.

Although this looks to be a strong cage, all the wire 'spokes' bend very easily. As in... our dog can break out of it with both latches hooked.
Don't waste your money unless you have an old dog that won't even attempt to get out.
Also, it took 2 deliveries (shipped to our home) to receive this in good working order. The first one was mangled beyond recognition.

Me and my wife bought this for our 1 yr old beagle Sheppard mix. The first day we got it we tested it by putting her in it and leaving to check the mail. When we came back she had busted through the front and opened the door. Then we left again a few days later and came home to find her out of the cage and the side bars broken and bent. This cage was horrible for having her in it and was not worth the price. Its cheap and flimsy. I would not recommend this cage for anyone who has a dog who cant be alone. HORRIBLE.

i have been buying from walmart for forever. it's where most of my discretionary income goes. but this has to be the worst purchase i have ever made there. i was in desperate need of a dog crate and the size i needed in the aspca brand was not available. so after reading the reviews on the Remington brand, i decided to purchase one. hands down, one word...CHEAP. cheap in price and cheaply made. so for those of you who rated this product 5 stars i can only assume you never had the aspca brand. aspca's wiring is twice as thick and the tray is better made too. buy with confidence and get the aspca brand. if your dog is meek and tiny, the remington should be ok. but for the more "active," larger dogs, get the aspca crate.

Cage won't work for bigger tougher dogs

This cage is not good for Pitbull/Terrier mix. After putting her in the kennel a few hours later she had bent the corner of the kennel and broke a few bars and was able to escape. She did scratch her face up pretty good think about changing her name to scar face LOL. If you have a dog that's mild mannered and kenneled trained then this kennel is for you if you have a big dog and not kenneled trained this kennel won't work. I do like the size of the kennel just wished it could be stronger metal.,

This crate was made with a thinner guage steel. If you have a large dog they can push through the the door and bend the door to the point that they will get out. I would recommend that you spend more money and get a better crate. I have a 6 month old doberman it took her three days to bend the door enough to escape

This cage is pretty much built like every other dog cage I've seen. It goes together and takes down very easy. My dog is 65lbs and I have no issues with him in this cage. He even lays against the side while he sleeps with no deform happening too the cage. Could be a bit cheaper but ok compared to other cages from other stores.

Ordered this online after calling 2 local WMt's & being told they weren't available (nothing this sz) in-store. Product arrived about 5 days later, which wasn't bad. Box was pretty banged up; almost looked like a return or it'd been thrown off a roof. Set up was easy & product does work. Latches are semi hard to manage (kinda flimsy). The price was good (cheaper than anywhere else) so I'm overall happy with the purchase. On my most recent trip to WMt, I saw a similar product (same size, same price) @ eye level, right in the pet aisle! So I could've had a comparable product days sooner (when I needed it!) if a store associate had actually looked. And maybe had I picked it out myself, the quality wouldn't have been shabby. But for the $, it's decent & does the job as intended.
It works & the $ was good, so I'd recommend it.

Material this kennel is made of seems somewhat flimsy. Kennel size great for my dog. Just not sure how long it will last due to flimsy metal. Did not expect this as it is Remington brand. Not bad though for price.

We have a 4 month old puppy that hated his old Kennel. We couldn't get him to stop barking and peeing in it. His first day in his new kennel he walked right in and loved it! After a month, he still hasn't barked in it, sleeps in it at his own will, and never once left a mess! Great Product!

This was very easy to assemble. You just pull the sides out and pull up on the handle and then it folds out like a box. Very easy. My black lab has a lot of room to stand and move around in it.
