For the price, the set of chairs was a good value. I bought 2 sets, so they were a little frustrating to put together, especially since the holes for the top of the chair weren't pre-drilled for the screws. They came out of the box with a couple scratches, but nothing that couldn't be covered up. They're pretty sturdy and look nice placed at my kitchen island counter. Overall, I would recommend them.

Chairs were exactly what I wanted in my new kitchen. Very comfortable. Assembly was tricky & probAbly needs 2 people with a hammer to get it right. Some of my chairs wobble a bit. But they feel sturdy & don't even need to cushions I got for them.

This chair was almost 50% assembled when it arrived. The only construction was connecting the front legs to the back and putting the seat on. After assembly, it was a very solid set of two chairs.

Took longer than expected to put together (approximately 1 hour per chair). Very nice looking once together, comfortable. They are being used in an office kitchen and so far the staff has approved of them which means a lot.

i love these chairs. they were a little challenging to put together, but if i can do it any one can. one screw for the seat was too short so i had i improvise with screws from my tool box. and one seat didn't align right with the pre drilled hole. again improvise. after all is said and done they are beautiful and sturdy. well worth the money. when i think of how reasonable the cost is i didnt't mind improvising.

My wife bought 4 of these, wish I could have sat in them first! the seat is square, no taper & no rounded edges, so right on the edge where your legs rest, you are putting pressure on a sharp 90 degree angle. If you sit all the way back, you are force to rest your feet on the 3/4" little pieces of wood across the front. Again, not rounded. Look nice, just don't use them!

These chairs are really nice and very reasonable. They are perfect for a small pub table (30" tall). I have a small kitchen and these have worked perfectly. The only downside is they are a bit time consuming to put together but not difficult.

I read the reviews which seemed 50/50 before purchasing 4 stools. The order arrived quickly at Site to Store. Boxes were easy to handle by myself. I checked for parts said to be included. Once confirmed, I began the assembly process which while easy was slow going because most of the screws required the use of the Allen key (L-shaped tool included). Once 2 frames were assembled, I tried to attach the seats to no avail; the screws were too short. However attractive the stools are I've decided to return the order mainly out of frustration at the time spent in assembling (by myself) and also because: 1) Missing parts was the same issue for a few other reviewers and I thought it would have been taken care of by the time I made my purchase; 2) The seats were smaller than I thought; and 3) I prefer a higher weight capacity. It would have been helpful if Item Description included "actual" seat dimensions. I was concerned that the cross-back feature wouldn't be comfortable but it was. I would prefer a 2nd, horizontal support bar placed in front above 1st bar allowing those of us of shorter stature the option of resting our feet on the higher bar or letting our legs hang while sitting on the stool. Due to seat size, probably more comfortable for children or petite adults.

I like the looks of the chairs, they were easy to assemble and they seem sturdy for the cost. One problem I found assembling was that there is a hole drilled in the bottom front of the seat that is right where the connection piece screws down into so there was nothing for the screw to grip. Not sure why it's there but I had to add addtional screws to secure the front of the seat downl

These stools looks better and appear stronger then I would have expected for such a low cost. Assembly was not too bad until you get to the last few screws and realize there are not pre drilled holes. The seat does not have markers so you have to be very careful it does not move while your screwing it on othwise it will go on crooked.

I like the chairs, they are nice looking and feel strong. However they are all wobbly like there might be one leg shorter than the others, that is my only dislike about them. I am going to try and fix this problem, I don't think it will be that hard to remedy. Rather than taking them back apart and paying to send them back.

These stools are priced great and look great. My only complaint is that the protective "feet" on the bottom of the legs are pretty hard plastic so they just slide on our hardwood floors. I will correct that buy purchasing some new tack on feet so that the stools have a little more grip to them. Other than that they are so perfect! I was looking for a cheap "quick-fix" in my newly remodeled kitchen and didn't want to pay top dollar for this type of look right now. I orignally thoguht these would be a temporaty fix but now I plan to keep them long term!

we shopped all over, trying to find something simple to match our new table...finally went online and found these! very happy with them as they work perfectly and are a very good deal for the money. i also loved the fact that they not only came right to my door, but shipping was free...hard to say no to that!
there was a small nick or two in the finish, on one of the "stretchers," but i really don't care and it's something for which i didn't feel it was worth exchanging. we just touched it up...no problem.
