Generic As Seen On TV Iron Gym Xtreme Workout Bar / Pull-Up Bar
The Iron Gym Total Upper Body Workout Bar lets you get lean, strong, and ripped in the most efficient manner. This is a multifunction training system that strengthens and tones your chest, back, arms, shoulders, and abdominal muscles. It can be fitted on any door and wraps around the door frame with leverage. You need not use any screws to fix this up. This steel pull up bar lets you provide different challenges to your muscles with the three different positions that include narrow grip, wide grip, and neutral grip. Apart from using it as a doorway pull up bar, it can also be used on the floor for deep push-ups and for a greater range of motion. It can serve as a sturdy base for tricep dips too. No exercise product is worth 2 cents if you don't use it. This product is priced right, ships fast, is easy to put together (less than 10 minutes with my cats help) and does what it should. I have been using it for about 2 months with no problems whatsoever. It is very stable and solid.

Great product for the price. My 13 year old put together, so its not difficult. Fits in a standard door as long as you have molding. The whole family is using it. I love the different hand positions. Easy to put up and take down.

This is a great bar, which I got because my doctor told me to get one for shoulder surgery rehab. I love it and find myself doing other types of exercises with it too, just because it is easy and fun.
My kids are enjoying testing their strength as well, so just having it in the house is a boost to our physical fitness challenge.
I would have given it 5 stars, but was taken aback when I opened the box and saw all the parts that had to be assembled. I put them all back in box as it seemed daunting at the time.

I have not had chance to go to GYM so I bought this to do quick work out to keep my muscles in shape. This will provide chest, arms, back, abs in shape, this will not provide all the fitness. And this is not for beginners unless you can do min 8 pull ups comfortably, otherwise it wouldn't do you any good. Assembly is easy (10 min or less), and quick to put on the entry way and take off to do push ups. I would recommend using chair to dip instead of this since you will not get a full motion. Also, get a extra padding or sponge between trim and padded bar that touchs the trim. with all that weight it will mar the trim. this had special offer for ab sling but you have to mail it in with shipping charge of $9, I would forgo this and use your arm strength to do the knee raises or leg lifts, that will help with your arm strength wild working tummy in more efficient way.

This seems to be a quality product... needed to find one that would fit in a doorway with wide moldings (4" wide by 5 1/2" deep doorway).. fits nicely.. Bought this at my 15year old son's request... he is enjoying it!

Happy with this pull-up bar. Product came well packaged. Assembly was not too hard. After first assembly attempt, I found the assembled bar was skewed so I dismantled it and switched the smaller bars from one side to another. That helped remove the skew. Feels sturdy on the wall for my 180 lbs frame.
Sadly, the "free abs strap" are not really free. The S&H for this "free" product is $7.99 - almost twice the S&H for other items on the supplementary list. Appears to be excessively high.
Overall a good product - go for it if you are within the recommended weight limits.

This is a tough unit. Only suggestion I have for it is this... you need to reinforce your door frame trim for this.
The limit for this unit is 300 pounds, which that is no issue. The issue you will face, you must reinforce your door frame you intend to work with.
You have to realize that it sits on the finish moulding above a door.... that is never installed in a heavy duty way to hold your weight. I highly recommend that you add, with extra screws, a 1x1 piece of wood above your door trim and add more screws to hold it in place. It's for you own safety and the sake of your home's trim work.
Outside of that, installed properly, you will have no issues with this unit.
