It cost 20$ (I was quoted 70$ to have them done locally) I did it myself (regular 24 yo girl) and it took a bit- maybe 2 hours total with grabbing drill, tape, spray bottle and rags ect. Actual sanding was about 90 mins maybe just under. I took my time, it may not be more than 90 mins total if needed. WORTH IT!

I tried another restoration kit a few years ago and it was useless. I decided to give it a go due to fantastic ratings. The first light took me about 25 mins due to kid interruptions and the second took about 10-15 mins. The results are AMAZING!! I am genuinely impressed with this product. I added some images so you could see before and after results.

There's a handful of kits that actually deliver great results, it then becomes a matter of prefrence and price.
Consumer Reports recommended this kit as second best and one of two products that deliver results and with no degradation of the achieved results.
The 3M kit is a 4 step that requires a drill.
Obviously, you don't get a like-new headlight, but a massively improved clarity. Both aesthetically and in function (brighter light).
The NUMBER ONE recommended product was the Sylvania Restoration Kit (20 dls), but I could it find it locally.

Ok, I was nervous about buying this, but was glad I did. I do alot of driving at night, and couldnt afford new headlights on my sallary. I bought this. All I can say is WOW! worked wonders. Headlights almost look like new now. Simple to ues. SImple, easy to understand instructions. All in all a AWESOME product.

The kit did not include a sealent. Without sealent the process might need to be repeated every 3 months as stated in the directions.

See Photos! Significant damage to headlight lens from never-garaged 1998 Windstar. A bit tedious, but even better results possible if more time taken than I did. Did both lens in about an hour total. Drill should have full charge battery, (maybe 2), for proper polishing. Had no overheat tendencies. Sufficient pads and polish left to do 2 more lens equally damaged.

This product was as good as advertised and I am extremely pleased with the results. I read the instructions once and reviewed the U-tube video to see what I should expect. The initial sanding process makes the lens look frosty, but just like in the video, that is what it is supposed to look like. It is a four step process and took about fifteen minutes to finish the first headlight. After seeing the results, I felt like a pro and knew what to do. Make sure you have everthing you need to complete the job per the instructions.

Does a super job and is quick and easy. I can't believe how much better I can see driving at night plus the car just looks so much better. My son did my headlights and a friends with one package. Not sure why some complained that there was not enough sandpaper. Also, you have the drill attachment that lets you do it so you never have to buy another. Everyone at my house was implessed.

Comes with 500 grit, 800 grit, 3000 Trazic pad, and polishing pad with compound. Easy to use and all you need is a drill. For the price, it's a no-brainer. Spent about 10 minutes on each headlight lens and they now look like brand new again.

A must try! I have to admit, I was very skeptical of this product, but I had nothing to loose. After finding out how much it was going to cost me to replace both my headlight Len's on my 2004 Pontiac Vibe ($140-$180 each) I decided that for less than $20 if this product did not work I was only out 20 bucks. OMG, I was so impressed and I saved at least $280. I even posted it to my facebook page for others to see.
Only thing I will suggest is make sure to use a "electric" drill or have a couple charged batteries for your cordless. Mine did not hold a charge long enough to complete the project for both sides.

I really can't believe how clear my headlights look now. I used it on an 8 year old Kia Sedona. The headlight lenses were so hazed and yellow that I couldn't see the bulbs through them. Now they are as clear as glass. I wish I had taken before pictures. I spent about 25 min on each headlight, including time to put masking tape around them. I also took several breaks during that time to make sure I didn't get the plastic too hot. I had enough sandpaper to also do my wife's car, but I had to buy another brand's plastic polish to complete the job. The results were the same. If you take your time and do the project as instructed you will not be disappointed. I had been shopping online for replacement headlight assemblies which ran over $200. I am so glad I did this instead, they couldn't look any better if they were new.

I AM very pleased with this product. I am not car-detail-savvy in any way, but I was able to use this 3M kit to restore my car's headlights (which were very yellow with deep abrasions/cloudiness from years of road grime) AND I was able to do my boyfriend's Tahoe headlights all with one package! My Honda dealer wanted $180+ just to restore my car's headlights so I decided to try this product and I am very glad I did. The drill attachment and velcro attachments (sand papers of different grit sizes and buffer) were awesome- I could NOT have done this by hand. I started out using a battery-powered drill (24V) but then switched to an electric/FAST drill which made the job a lot easier (slow drills [<1300rpms] have the tendency to bounce around and sand uneavenly). See pic for before and after!

I used this product on a 2000 Chevy Prizm and the headlights look brand new. I have nothing new to add that the previous reviews on this product haven't mentioned. I do recommend if you plan on using this product on your car I have two pieces of advice:
(1) Wear a protective mask! The sanding process will generate a lot of fine particulates that will float in the air. You probably don't want to breathe this stuff in.
(2) Be very generous with the recommended body masking tape. I had put a double layer of tape immediately on the body around the headlight assembly, but just used a single width. I should have doubled the width. At one point I let the drill get away from me during sanding and I accidentally messed up some of the paint on the top of the bumper. Since my car is 13 years old it isn't anything I am going to stress out about, but do put on two layers AND double the width around the edges of the headlight assembly.

I was skeptical, but figured what the heck, lots of good reviews. The kit did two sets of headlights. My Nissan Frontier looks like new. I did my wifes 4Runner twice, still a little cloudy, but the lights are much brighter. Both exceeded my expectations.
