The gate did not have a tight fit with the door frames. I have a little Chihuahua puppy and he walked right through the gate. I would not recommend this to anyone else.

The way the slats are crossed it took less than 2 week for our puppy to climb right over. Going to try and return it to get credit towards a better one with vertical slats and a walk through.

I was a little skeptical when I bought this gate, I had read a few bad reviews, and I was also afraid it would not work on my cement walls. Well it works but we had to set it up a little sideway so it would stand completely. My doggy doesn't jump over or leans on it because he scared of it so we haven't had any escapes.. So if your pup is small or medium size and its not a jumper I recommend!

I ordered 2 gates for keeping my puppy in one area. I received one gate damaged. This product is very cheap material & not sturdy at all!!!! The other gate broke after one use. I would not recommend this product at all!

I found the Gate to be above my expectations.
The latch worked well for me. Just need to read the instructions on the Box.
Some other reviews, said it didn't work well. I believe they just did not understand how to latch.

I purchased this based on a positive review by the owner of a 15# beagle, which is what I have. Unfortunately I was unaware that my beagle, who can't get on the sofa without assistance, can climb. It didn't take him 15" to learn that he could climb over it!

I got this for a dining room door. I have a swinging door and wanted it to be open without the dogs going in and eating the cats food. It fits perfectly up high enough for cats to go under or over. Works perfectly and can be removed easily for human traffic to go into the room.

We have owned many pet gates over our lifetime. This is the first one that is stained and decorated to give it visual appeal. It fits nicely in all our doorways. It is tall enough to keep our dogs out but short enough to easily step over. Thank you WalMart and the ASPCA!
