Schumacher Schumacher Automotive SpeedCharge Battery Maintainer and Charger
The Schumacher Automotive SpeedCharge Battery Maintainer and Charger is an exceptional battery charger that works on both 6- and 12-volts batteries with 1.5-amp output current. It features a fully automatic microprocessor controlled charger that keep the batteries at full charge using float-mode monitoring. This automotive battery charger is perfect for charging small batteries and great for maintaining small as well as large batteries found on motor cycles, classic cars, RVs, boats and more. The LED indicator lights on the charger shows three status settings: charging, charged, and trouble. The Schumacher battery charger includes quick-disconnect harness for permanent attachment of ring connectors. The ring connectors work great for hard-to-reach motorcycle batteries. This Schumacher automotive battery charger and maintainer is easy to use and keeps your batteries fully charged.

Tried it as soon as I got in the mail. Worked well on my motorcycle battery. It took about 5.5 hours to charge a almost dead battery.

Not for quick charges

Will probably charge just about any size 6 or 12 volt battery but I've only used it for my riding mower. Even then it was not a quick charge but did a fine job in a couple of hours. I'm not sure how long it took as I didn't watch it closely but when I returned in a few hours the battery was charged. I'm happy with this product.

Unit is well-made, compact and works as described. Schumacher has been around for a long time and I did a lot of research before selecting this for my application (I have 2 motorcycles). Walmart had the best deal anywhere....

Was looking for a cheap charger to keep a lawn mower battery charged up when not in use. After reading the reviews thought I would give this one a try. I don't know how well it would do on a car battery but as far as a lawn mower or motorcycle battery this works great. Has a auto shut off that switches from charge to maintain when the battery is fully charged. This product worked great and best of all was the price.....

The Schumacher automotive SpeedCharge Battery Maintainer and chargers are perfect for maintaining my 6 volt Model A Ford battery and my 12 volt Durango, John Deere riding lawnmower, and my awesome ATV...all of which are housed in un-heated barn space for the long Maine winter. Temperatures have already dipped below - 20 degrees F and the vehicles all start without block heaters. I am totally impressed by these very functional Maintainer/Chargers.

purchased to re-charge my lawn mower battery, left battery on charger approx. 2 hours and it fired right up. mower has been sitting in storage shed for over 8 months with out being started. for $20 you can't go wrong. Was deliveref to house within 3 days of ordering reg. shipping $.97
