Featuring a 12 volt 30 lbs thrust electric motor, this device offers reliable performance every time. It features a telescopic handle for easy and convenient operation. This 30lbs thrust electric motor has five forward speeds and two reverse speeds for precise control. It includes a heavy-duty transom mount for easy set up. The mount is made from alloy to ensure extended durability. The 30" chrome plated steel shaft allows for up and down adjustment. This freshwater trolling motor is equipped with a tough two-blade weedless propeller that cuts through thick plants or weeds. I use my Watersnake Tracer trolling motor with an 11-foot Maxxon inflatable boat.
So far, I've used the motor three times for a total of about seven hours on one charge of the 12V battery. My average speed was about 4 out of the 5 forward speeds. I'm pleased that I can go that long at that speed on one charge.
I found the fastest forward speed was enough to buck a moderate wind, which is important, since I don't have another motor for speed.
On the con side, I find the slowest forward speed a little too fast for trolling.

Used many times since I bought it ....... Bring the special tool to remove the prop ....... It comes with the motor. I got tangled in algae several times & needed to remove prop to eliminate vibrations.....
