The Bright Starts Comfort & Harmony Portable Swing is a musical baby swing that can soothe and relax your baby. This swing comes with many useful features that make it a must for your baby. This is a great swing. It was really easy to put together and worked great! My daughter absolutely loves it. She's getting too big for it now (8 mos and 20 lbs) but it worked wonderfully when she was little. She would fall asleep every time we put her in it. What a lifesaver with a newborn. Thanks WalMart for a great product at an affordable price!

Upon reading several great reviews for the Bright Starts portable swing, I went ahead and ordered one for my sister as a baby shower gift. First, the swing was shipped to my home on the exact day I was told I would receive it. I was thrilled considering the fact I needed to receive it ASAP! Second, the swing is beautiful...very nice colors...and very soft. Third, my sister loved it! It met all my expectations...overall, a great product.

Bad battery life/broken swing

I was excited about this product but the swing feature was broken from the start. It would work maybe one in 5 times. The music was really soothing and nice for even the adults to listen to, but it drained through batteries so fast, it wouldn't stay on long. The fabric was nice & plush. The toy bar just got in the way and was a hassle getting the baby in & out. Also, you can't set the baby in there for ever a minute unbelted...at 2 months her legs are getting strong enough to push herself up and her head would make it teeter forward. Very scary. There isn't an option to just belt their legs in, you have to do the whole shoulder strap. And as a busy mom with 2 kids under 3, this swing was more work than help to me. I have since returned it and am hoping something different works better for us.

I purchased for this swing for my premie because she was so small and I wanted something we could travel to sitters and grandma's house with. It took me some time to put it together. It requires six C batteries and has this rather annoying area that holds the batteries and requires a small screwdriver. The strap is also a little difficult to figure out for a first time parent like myself. My daughter started to like it once her adjusted age was about 3 weeks. I like that it is small, I dislike that you can't adjust the volume. The speed settings are great,esp since it took my little one some time to get used to it.

I bought this for my 4 month old grand daughter to use at our home.She loved it, when she had a fussy night being in a new place,the swing was the answer.. she fell fast asleep...it swings gently , its quiet, the melodies are beautiful. The price was low compared to others on the market that look complicated. Great Swing, great looking too!!

I believe this was the cheapest swing I found on the Wal-mart site. For the price it had music, timed swinging and looked really cute. It did not disappoint. Just remember there are no batteries that come with the unit. I opened the shipping box to check if it needed batteries or not and saw they weren't included so bought them (had to go through the line again) before I left. It has varying swing levels...not speed but swing intensity. Anyway, it was by far the best deal of all the swings and I was extremely satisfied.

The main reason for being on this site was to purchase a swing for my 6 week old daughter. However, when the item arrived and set up, put the batteries in and NOTHING! I'm sure its a product issue, but none the less, I am reluctant to purchase anything else.

My baby loves her swing! She falls asleep instantly and she seems very comfortable in it. When she isn't in it, we store it away which is easy to do. The swing is light and does not take up much space.

Our daughter is almost 2 weeks old and she loves the swing. Assembly was very easy with just a little snapping stuff together. We have been using it off and on since she's been home, speeds work great. Runs off 4 C Batts, and please do yourself a favor and get a good brand of batts for this as the cheaper brand doesn't work as great. Kind of wish it had a plug in for it, but batt. life on good batts isn't too bad.

pros: comfy, easy to move around, nice print, not bulky, toy bar (although at first it was way above her eyesight, but now reaches and plays with them), removable pad for washing, several tunes, nice vol control, timer, 5-pt harness, motor works great!
cons: not very sturdy (legs feel a little loose and the swing itself looks a little crooked; swings fine though), the buttons got stuck making it impossible to keep folding/unfolding

I love this swing so far! We bought it for one of our twin girls. It helps put her to sleep at night between feedings. It is so soft and quiet! I only have 2 complaints: 1. the music doesn't work and 2. the toy bar has to be in just the right position for it to swing if it's not, the swing won't swing. It's a guessing game that drives me crazy but my girl likes looking at the toys and it's a pain taking the bar off all the time so I play the game.

Not satisfied with this product. Probably going to take it back. Got it and put it together in about 10 minutes (pretty simple). However, upon putting our baby in the swing it only works about half the time. We are using high quality Energizer batteries with this. Acts like the arms are getting binded up and won't allow the carriage to swing freely. After you twist it a little bit it takes out the bind and it works fine. Have to repeat this process everytime we turn it on. For $50 you think it would at least work properly. Maybe we just got the lemon. Sincerely, family of four; have put together numerous household items in the past.
