I was hesitant since im not mechanically inclined, but this canon camera is easy to use and set up. I LOVE IT and it was my gift to me for the holiday. The only thing is that it wont work with many brands of mini dvd's. I had to search to get ones that are compatible with them and sorry to say walmart didnt have them i found them on amazon and at very very good prices. Walmart was fantastic about me returning the ones that didnt work. Thank you Walmart ..

I absolutely LOVE this camera. It records movies onto DVD and still pics onto SD card. I recommend the High Performance SD card for better quality.
The camera starts recording quickly and also has a standby mode to begin recording in a matter of seconds. Everything this cam does, it does quickly. The battery outlasts recording time and recharges VERY QUICKLY! Also, the manual says to use "recommended DVDs"... I called the company and they said to use name brand DVDs, Memorex, Canon, Maxell, etc. I personally use Canon and Memorex DVDs. I also use DVD-R so that I never accidentally record over anything.

This camera includes an AV cable and an AC adapter. The adapter charges the battery and you can also use it to power the camera in the event of a dead battery.
Once the recorded DVD is finalized, you can play it on a DVD player or your pc. Use your pc to upload it to your favorite websites.
The zoom is great! This cam has image stabilization so that when you zoom it doesn't pick up the "shake" that older cameras pick-up. Crisp, Clean and Clear recording!
I love everything about this camera and I recommend it to everyone!
My recordings look great on both my old analog tv and my new HD LCD flatscreen tv!
The DVDs that come in this package are in hard cases. If you buy the 20 pack Memorex, they are in a stack, not individual cases. So if you prefer the cases, buy in smaller packages like 3 or 5 not 20.
Purchase the insurance.... just incase! It covers everything.
