This drawer is spacious and convenient for its price. Appearance is good and drawers close without any noise. The most time consuming part is just putting it together. The drawer looks very nice from the front but the backside looks cheap and the backside of the drawer is covered with a cheap flappy material (Which is why they don't show that part on the photo). So make sure the backside is up against a wall, haha. But at least it looks just how it appears on the photo online.

My husband and I bought a bedroom set a couple of years ago and only bought one nightstand at the time because we didn't have room for two. We've since moved and do have room - turns out the company that made our bedroom set went out of business so we can't get a matching piece.
I picked this one because the color is almost exact and the style is similar. The piece is a little shorter than I would have liked but it's sturdy, looks nice and was easy to put together.

I've bought SoHo products before and loved it so I went ahead and bought the nightstands to go along with the dresser I had purchased.
It was easy to put together. I am a 24 yr old female and did great with simple knowledge of common tools like a hammer and screw driver. The directions were easy to follow and so far they have been great.

Overall appearance looks good, however was disappointed that only 3 surfaces of the inside of the drawer was finished with laminate. The side were the screws go though to attach the handle is not finished with laminate. The drawer itself rides on two plastic railings which I find to be cheap in design. I think its overpriced for what your getting.

Directions confusing and cheap materials.

I saw a pattern with the SoHo products and it didn't make me happy. This night stand like the 5 drawer chest of drawers had plastic runners for the drawer. Also, the directions didn't make sense because it looked like it wanted us to put it together backwards. So, I pitched the directions and made it at least functional using my own sense of directions. This had a front piece that went on the bottom and it is suppose to snap in using these plastic peices, but jsut like the SoHo 5 drawer chest of drawers the piece didn't fit in. This table is okay as it is next to his bed and had a nice amount of space on top for his alarm clock, lamp, and phone charger. But I wouldn't recommend it simply because it doesn't look good without the piece in the front, I worry that the drawer is going to fall through like the 5 drawers in the chest of drawers, and it was so difficult to put together (there was something wrong with the directions). But at least my son can use this, unlike the 5 drawer chest of drawers.

When my husband and I removed the pieces of the South Shore SoHo Nightstand from its original packaging, I was quite pleased to find that not only were all the parts labeled but the screws for each step were in separate packages. That made assembling the nightstand much easier. The instructions were very concise and easy to understand. We needed very few tools to assemble it, mainly a screwdriver and a hammer. I am delighted with the quality of the nightstand and I believe I received a product that was well worth the money.

We bought this nightstand with the dresser and it matches very well with our son's bunkbed. You can't expect a high quality product, but for its value, it does the job. It also looks pretty. The drawer is sticky when you open it, but again, I can live with that given the value of it.

This product was junk. It was made of cheap material that broke when you tried to put it together. I will never buy unassembled furniture again. This was my first and last time. I didn't even return it for a refund. My husband burned it. I bought the bed and dresser as well. We returned it all to the store. The only thing good about this purchase, was the return. Walmart is great when you have to return something.
