I am very satisfied with this pizza pan. It bakes the crust almost as good as an official pizza oven. Now all I have to do is find a good dough recipe.
I priced this pan at other sites and Walmart offered the best price. I used the ship-to-store option which saved on shipping costs.

This is a wonderful piece of cast iron. Bakes biscuits and crusts very well. Super easy clean up. Just wash off and oil and put it away. And it will last for 100 years. You can not hurt it. We will be getting another one soon.

Great product - I would pre-heat the oven to 500 degrees - not 450 if you wish a more crispy, golden brown crust. The pan will stay hot long after removal from the oven. Overall, a wonderful product!

We make pizza every friday night, and this has definitely stepped up our game. Doesn't come with a wooden peal (pizza shovel, sp?) which would make getting the pizza onto the hot stone a bit easier. Regardless, it is a great product, well worth the money.

It will be hard for today's young people to remember to never wash this item. Cast iron will lose its seasoning if you do. Follow all the directions of the manufacturer and you will get years of service from this piece.

I made my first pizza with it utilzing the recipe that came with the skillet. I baked it in my gas grill instead of the oven. The crust had a very pretty golden color and the texture of the crust was wonderful & I attribute this to being cooked on the cast iron and not the recipe.

Best cast iron pizza pan around

First off, Lodge is continually setting the standard for cast iron cookware. There are other brands out there to be had if one chooses though. I looked around, and shopped around for a cast iron pizza pan before deciding on this Lodge brand pan. I had found another brand that was a local purchase, but the quality of the pan was terrible compared to Lodge, and it was more expensive to boot. I found the Lodge pan on Walmart.com, and it was free site to store shipping, which is huge when you consider the weight for shipping cast iron. The pan arrived at our local store within a few days, and I was notified via email and txt message, so I could pick it up.
We have cooked pizza on this pan twice sense it arrived. I like to use it on the charcoal grill to get that brick oven flavor. It worked wonderful both times, with no sticking to the pan. It gave the crust a nice dark crunch and was cooked within 10-12 minutes. I have also used this pan as a "heat sync and heat defusser" in my charcoal griller/smoker below the meat rack, for indirect cooking and to stabilize the temperature in long "low and slow" meat smoking.
Any future purchases of cast iron cookware will be Lodge brand for me. The quality is top notch, and it is still made right here in the USA (I think the enamel coated versions are made in china). We have to continue to support our American workers and try to keep them employed.
There you have it. Cheaper than other brands, quality much better, built to last a lifetime or more, pizza turns out excellent and it's made in the USA!

I don't usually write reviews, but this pizza pan worked out great and was definitely worth the money. Overall the pizza cooked evenly and the crust turned out nicely, which has been a problem with my homemade pizzas. Remember this pan holds heat pretty good even after your pizza comes out of the oven.

I love this cast iron pizza pan, this pan bakes the pizza better than any other pan i have used. And using cast iron is so much healthier for you, than any other product. This pan is so durable and strong that if you take care of it, it will last you a life time. To be honest i love this pan so much that i'm even looking at their enamel coated cast iron skillets to use on my glass top stove, so buy it and enjoy a good and sturdy product.
