This is a good cheap bar if you are new to lifting and not very strong. I would not suggest this bar to anyone looking to lift heavy weight or do serious lifting with it. Case in point: I am a 32 yr old woman and I managed to bend this bar from having too much weight on it. DO NOT USE THIS BAR FOR BENT OVER LONG BAR ROWS.

250# capacity I'll never reach, but the feel of a solid bar is something you just have to experience to appreciate. I like the look of chrome, too. The spin locks are so much easier to manage than spring locks. I'm a happy camper.

Good price. Seemingly good quality so far. I liked that it came with the collars, which some bars do not for some insane reason. My older barbell had a little more weight to it, which I prefered, but I wouldn't could that against this product.

I feel more secure with the threaded ends, than with a smooth barbell that you put those clips on to secure the weights from falling off. That was a big reason why I bought this. Another huge reason was because it was one inch. I see a lot of bars I'll be buying in the future that can hold my 1 inch weight plates on them.
