You get what you pay for on this item! In use for about 4 months then stopped running. Attempted to repair by replacing uv light element - contacted Supentown directly since item was not on their website. Replacement bulb was $18.95 plus shipping. No invoice with shipment? Replacing bulb did not help and unit still not running. Working with Walmart to get a refund! Do NOT BUY THIS Folks!!!!!

Review 3 for Sunpentown Mini Dehumidifier with UV & TiO2 SD-652Ti
Bought this for my daughter's small 720 sq ft home. It is very efficient, quiet, and compact making it easy to move from room to room, if needed. Design fits in well with any room. Does not require frequent emptying due to size of water tank.

Review 4 for Sunpentown Mini Dehumidifier with UV & TiO2 SD-652Ti
Good product with good value. We use this in a small bathroom that does not have an exhaust fan.....helps keep mirror clear after taking a shower and does a decent job of removing moisture. Plan to use in a pop-up camper.....think it would work well based on the performance in the bathroom. Quieter than expected....especially like not having filters to change since it includes ultraviolet cleaning of the collected water.

Review 5 for Sunpentown Mini Dehumidifier with UV & TiO2 SD-652Ti
tried in a cabin with hopes of using in larger space, but only removed 3 c in 4 days. The unit does not have the power to pull in air at a large volume or speed, so you get what you get. Also, AC/DC converter in electric plug got extremely hot, burning to the touch.
might be useful in very small room with poor ventilation; otherwise, buy a much larger more powerful dehumidifier.

The unit seems to work steadily. My only objection is it is louder than I think it could be and it is hard to tell if the bug zapper lite is working. But as the water gets dupmed out anyways, I was not too worried about that. It does pull moisture from the room. Ours is in a 40' motor home that we live in in damp Oregon.

Review 8 for Sunpentown Mini Dehumidifier with UV & TiO2 SD-652Ti
It was bought to keep a cruiser dry. Totally removed the humidity and keeps the boat dry. Fits in the small sink so it can be left on and drains in to the sink. Exactly what we needed.

Review 9 for Sunpentown Mini Dehumidifier with UV & TiO2 SD-652Ti
The product only removed 1/2 inch of moisture in 3 days where there was plenty of moisture. Not the right product if you need to keep an area dry. Very disappointed. Warranty money not returned. This was a lesson well learned.

Review 10 for Sunpentown Mini Dehumidifier with UV & TiO2 SD-652Ti
This dehumidifier is pretty good. After using it, the tank was almost full and lower the humidity almost 10% in my living room. I don't like the price of this, and wish it was cheaper. Overall, not a too bad humidifier.

Got the dehumidifier in a timely manner. hooked it up and ran it for about 10 hours and it collected less than a teaspoon of water, figured it was not working properly or I did not have the correct environment for it and returned it.

Review 12 for Sunpentown Mini Dehumidifier with UV & TiO2 SD-652Ti
So far so good. I have only been using it for about 2 weeks in my closet. I noticed a wee bit of mold on some leather shoes so that is why I bought it. I really didn't have much humidity in there just enough to cause the mold. Of course the shoes could have been placed in there damp too. I don't remember. Anyway, it's working. I have water in the tank, it makes very little noise. I have to be in the closet to hear it. So, it doesn't keep me awake. It also doesn't bother the dog's ears.
Oh, I washed the mold off the shoes and it hasn't returned. So it's working.

This dehumidifier is doing a great job in a first floor space I have near my litter box! After a week I had a practically full basin, and I've noticed a definite difference in humidity as far as my carpeting feels. It's also relatively quiet, though it took some getting used to in the beginning for my cats! I'd recommend this for a non-hardcore small space that needs reasonable dehumidification.

We bought this for our son's dorm room and used it first in our bathroom as a test. It worked great at removing the muggy feel in the air after showering and the room seemed to stay much better smelling. Have just moved it to the dorm room so no experience there yet but we liked it in our bathroom enough to purchase another one for us!

My son has mild allergy symptoms so his Allergist suggested a dehumidifier to help reduce humidity in his room, and ultimately reduce allergens (i.e. dustmites, cockroaches etc - atttracted to humid environments). We've had it for about a month and has collected about 3 drops of water, not as effective as we hoped. We'll continue another month or so to see if anything changes. Plus, it is a bit noisy (white noise) & the light (indicator) is very bright at night time for bed (which is fine for him since he prefers a nightlight, but not ideal for an adult who wants complete dark).

I let it run in the water-damaged cabinet for 2 hours, with nothing collected. Just to test, ran for 8 hours in my bedroom & it only collected about 2oz of the humidity. I'm returning this product!

My apartment is about 600 sq ft. I get air by cooled water that is piped into a utility closet and a fan that blows over the pipes. Water condenses on the pipes and drips into a drain pan. It is always humid and musty in the utility closet. When it gets really bad, my entire apartment smells like that. I set up the dehumidifier in there. Within the first day it pulled about half a centimeter from the air, however over the course of about a week, the water was gone. In other words, it didn't dehumidify at a faster rate than the water evaporated. Maybe my apartment is too big for it, but I would at least expect the utility closet to by less humid and for it to dehumidify the air faster than water evaporates. I returned it.
