I love this iPod...it's small, compact and holds everything I need it to. I just rented and watched a movie on it and the quality was great and it kept me occupied while I had some time to waste. The sound is great, I don't even need to use the headphones if I'm just using it at my desk at work!
The video camera is great too and handy, you never know when you will need it. I do wish that it took pictures as well.
Overall great buy and I definitely recommend it!

I bought this for my husband. He very much enjoys listening to it. He has already downlaoded a good number of songs already. He uses it almost everyday. He is very happy with it, and it will come in very handy when we go on our vacation next month, which will include a very long plane trip. The price was graet too. I shopped around on different sites, and Wal-Mart.com was the cheapest one. Very good value for the money. Just wish the shipping was a little faster.

Overall I like the IPOD Nano. I got the 16gb instead of the 8gb because I want to make sure I have enough storage. I wanted to invest in a player that I could use for a while. I got the nano for its size, storage and video camera. It is small enough to fit in my pocket, thus far it has a lot of memory I have not used yet, this is my first Ipod, Itunes is very easy to use with it, its simple to learn how to use the player. I bought a case for mine because I do not want it to get stratched. I have not had any problems with the slide/click wheel. Clicking and sliding goes smoothly on screen. I really like the video camera, its not like a professional digital camera but its awesome. The graphics and pixels are pretty good. Even though the camera is placed in a weird spot upside down, you can easily convert and rotate the video with software. I can watch videos or movies on it. I can hook the IPOD up to a tv. One thing is that the battery does not last long especially when you are recording from the video camera. I had about 50% of battery, listened to music for a while, then recorded a video for testing that was 23 mins long and the battery was dead. So I would really use the the video camera for short video clips unless you always charge your IPOD pretty much everyday to make sure. My IPOD is also on energy saver for the battery which is suppose to make it last longer. There are preset EQ settings if you want to change the sound of music. There is a mic on it too. It allows for podcasts, photos, radio only with headphones, and audiobooks. The radio sounds pretty good overall, I hear a little static but you cant really tell.

Wow, I love it no more CDs all over the car. Love it. If u walk or workout this is nice because it is so light weight.
Syncing and operating this is easy and fast. Recommend buying the accessory package, so you have full use of this product right away!

I am disappointed in this prodict in only one area. The description of the 16G Ipod said that it could hold up to 4000 songs. I have just under 900 songs and have used up half of the memory already. The IPOD is really cool, but I don't see it living up to its description.

iPod works well on windows if you download and use the Apple "safari" isp download and mobile me downloads for doing any apple products related work. (iTunes, iPod, music, & video searches...). Video is clear, but has a ringing sound in the background that sounds like a phone ringing. Tagging is great deal, but only works on certain new music stations - would like to see it work on ALL radio stations. Reserving my memory for music only! Lots to spare***

This was a gift for the wife, she did not like the zune i bought her, she seems to like like this one. Itunes seems to be eaiser for her than the zune interface. I would recommend this ipod for someone looking for a mp3 playerthat is smaller than most.

I have no other MP3 to compare this with. I am utterly astonished with today's technology. This tiny 16GB Ipod is amazing. I will probably never fill it up with songs, videos, and pictures. The quality of the sound is out of this world. It is so very crisp and clear. The quality of the videos that it takes is better than my own camera's. There is no blurring at all. I absolutely love it. My husband surprised me with this wonderful gift. Thanks hubbs!

Overall the product performs very well. The directions that are provided are very limited in scope, and in some cases more are needed. The ear piece that is provided is adequate, but definately not worth the replacement cost if it goes bad. A cheaper replacement will work just as well. But I do love the ability to hold a lot more songs ... Not that I ever listen to all of them at once, but if the occasion arises, then I am ready. Overall I think this is a great iPod, and a fantastic deal.

This product is durable. I have dropped it and others claimed they have, too and no breakage so far. Even if the screen has no smudges, when it is on, you cannot even notice they are there. The video camera is crisp and clear, and even on the video if you whisper, it can pick it up.
The things I dislike about it is that sometimes it freezes for a moment; it tends to get annoying. I also do not like where the video camera is placed. Both the iPod Nano and the screen can be easily scratched or smudged.

The black Nano matches with colored earbuds great, as opposed to getting, lets say an orange iPod.
To keep the video camera from catching a finger or a hand during the film, hold the iPod upside-down.

This is the first Apple product I've purchased for myself. I have a 60GB Creative Zen Vision M and have really liked it. It's tough, it popped out of it's carrier on my bicycle while I was traveling over 20 mph. It bounced along the street and aside from a few scratches it still works fine.
However it has a mechanical hard drive and is quite a bit larger and heavier than the Nano. I got the Nano because of its small size and non-mechanical storage.
So far it's been great. Not as much storage space as the Zen but it's sufficient. It has an FM radio as did the Zen and that was a real plus for the Nano. Add in the video camera and it's a great little unit.

I almost bought the touch screen i pod, but am very happy with the 5th gen nano. I love the ease of use, the camera, pedometer, and especially the radio.
