JumpStart Pet Rescue contains 5 Discovery worlds where Preschoolers navigate through 5 stories in a search for lost pets. Each Discovery world contains a guided story told by one of the JumpStart friends, leading children on a learning adventure through more than 50 learning lessons and 20 activities that teach kids over 75 essential skills they need to succeed. As kids progress through the adventures, they improve their pre-reading skills, memory, creativity, motor skills, listening and much more!

Purchased this for my 3 (almost 4) year old as a late Christmas gift. She loves the fact that after the first day or so of getting used to the Wii remote that she could play it herself. She really likes all the games and activities and I enjoy that she is learning something. Thank you Jumpstart!

The game was boring and my kid didn't like it at all. It seems to be intended to girls instead of boys. Not a good experience.

I purchased this for my son for christmas and I have had to show him once how to work it, and it's only been 3 days and he's a pro already.. He's only five years old... This is perfect for active children and families looking for time to spend together with their children also education and fun at the same time....I searched and this came to be just right for him. Please if you don't have it, you need come to walmart and get it now....

Its an ok game, my four year old daughter loves to play it. The only down side to this is there can only be one player at a time. Other than that its a very fun game for my kids.

Okay for the younger set, 10/14/2009

My daughter has played Jump Start for a couple years via a disk and on-line. The graphics on the game are not very good. She also got "stuck" several times and we had to turn the game off to reset it. A 6 year old might bore of this game rather quickly. She did like choosing a pet and taking care of it. There do not seem to be "adventures" like there are in the other versions that we have of this game.

As a mom of 3 kids, I am always looking for games that will be good for at least most of the kids. In Pet Rescue, both my Kindergartner and my preschooler have found a game that they both enjoy. While there is lots of exploring and things for them to do, I like the fact that they are learning along the way (math, reading, etc.).

I would recommend this product to anyone who has children of preschool thru 1st Grade.
