I received this double DVD set three days after it became available in pristine condition. Ordering was easy, service was prompt and the value for what you get was amazing! Journey gives you a great show, playing all the old and new hits plus some songs you would have had to be around in the 80's to hear them play live!! A great two disk "in your face" non-stop Journey extravaganza!!!! I am sure anyone who is into Journey will totally dig this DVD!!!

I bought the DVD a few days ago. It's been over a week and there is not a single day since I purchased the unit that I haven't viewed at least 5 tracks from the album. To my opinon this is one of the better performances, if not the BEST of Journey with their current lead singer, AP. My favorite cuts are the 2 singles Deen Castronovo sang solo. Still They Ride and Mother Father is absolutely Deen's songs. I believe his version is a lot better than the original. The emotion and soul to the music is even more capturing with him rockin' the drum set at the same time. Arnel Pineda on the other hand looks inspired and pumped up. The quality of his singing is great on this particular concert. Absolutely fantastic!

For $10, this DVD is a great value and Journey's song selection and performance are fantastic. I was disappointed that, for all the talk about the special new cameras used to film this show, the image is soft throughout and out of focus in some shots. In addition, the stereo mix sounds better than the 5.1 mix. Again, great value for the price, but should have looked and sounded better in hi-def.

Journey Live in Manila is a great 2 DVD set. Hands down it is a testament to great Rock and Roll. All the members of Journey are at the top of their game. Neil Schon is fantastic on Guitar, Ross Valory has his bass skills honed to perfection. Jon Cain is a Keyboard and Rhythm Guitar Rock Machine. Drummer Deen Castronovo is one of the best Drummers in the game and an increadable Vocalist singing lead on 3 songs. Welcome home to Lead Vocalist Arnel Pineda as he has a voice that has to be heard to be believed. All in all a great concert. All that is missing from this DVD is some bonus features. Besides that the concert is perfect.

The band provides not only music to the ear but also a sense of inclusiveness that reaches around the world to say to all...Talent is a gift for everyone to enjoy and to experience. Arnel Pineda not only provides inspiration to many who are talented and need a break to get out there...He delivers a wonderful musical experience to the listener! Our generation is providing a wonderful avenue to get exposure so that the gift one posesses can be shared. This is a 2 dvd set which has 7 new journey songs, the rest of the songs are classic Journey songs from the 80's, a few from the 90's, and a few from the 70's era. The run time is 2 hours and 25 minutes, the camera shots are great with many different camera's, the sound is superb. I recommend this product for old and new journey fans.
