These pots and pans seem to be well made and the internal surface makes them look very slick and clean. They don't appear to be cheap made and when you grab a hold of the handle they feel like heavt duty expensive cookware. This is my first set of pans that have this ceramic tyoe surface and hope that it last as long as the teflons claim too. I didn't give the durability a high grade because I bought them to use camping on an induction Nuwave burner and haven't gone camping yet to use them. (Hoping they are excellent but at this time hoping they are average)This was the specific pan sizes my wife requested and was very hard to find this grouping. If they last as long as teflon I know I'll be satisfied.

It's hard to rate the durability of something you recently bought. However I love the cookware and they threw in a small frying pan for free. I just wish the local Walmart stores carried it. Yes I was able to order it but I would have liked to examine it before I bought it.

Although these pans are probably perfectly acceptable as nonstick cookware, they don't measure up to the fine quality of the light cast iron/ceramic Starfrit frying pans we have. I was hoping for similar quality in these; however, I've returned this set and will look for others comparable to my current Starfrit pans.
Packing was excellent, and delivery was fast, however.

So easy to clean no elbow work what so ever! Cook food without stick, now thats amazing. I love love love this set. They will last you a life time if you take care of them and not use silverware to cook your food. plastic only. Amazing set ! good size for big meals.

great starter set

I bought this set because I was trying to get away from PFOAs and PTFEs. It was cheap and guaranteed for 5 years so what the heck. I could decide whether I liked the ceramic coat technology. Worst case basis was that I was only gambling $100.
This set is so much more than I expected. Nothing sticks---period. I even scrambled eggs without oil and then left them in the pan overnight. They still slid right out. I cleaned the pan with a damp paper towel!
It still remains to be seen whether the coating lasts. But even if it doesn't, the set was cheap! I just wish Starfrit offered some more sizes. I would really like some bigger pans.

So far I have really enjoyed these pots/pans...just make sure you read the directions for care/cleaning. They are very nice looking and its nice to know it a green product.

I've been wishing for a set of pans that didn't have the non stick coming off in the food. I finally found them. I love these pans. The interior coating is ceramic and things just slide out of them. My next wish would be that they would make an 8 quart pot
so my husband could use it to cook his spaghetti sauce and I wouldn't have to worry about scorching it or having teflon flaking off in it.
