I've now had it for three months and have used it several times. We have deep fried turkey, chicken and fish and each time the food came out perfect. I especially like the easy break away power cord. I was deep frying in the garage and the dog walked by the power cord causing it to dislodge. The fryer unit stayed stationary however if the dog would have gotten tangled in the cord causing the unit to fall, I would hate to image what could have happen. keep in mind that this unit is rated for 14 lbs and below for deep frying turkey.

This product is great. A soon as I got it I fried some chicken and french fries and they turned out awesome. The only setback is it could take up to 35 minutes for the fryer to heat up.

My Dad really wanted one of these, so I bought it for him for Christmas. On Christmas Day with 10 people at my house for dinner, we plugged in the fryer for the 1st time to fry our Christmas turkey. We had a lot of problem making a connection with the break away plug. After fiddling with it, reading instructions, resetting the unit 3 different times, the fryer came on. We added our oil and waited for the fryer to preheat, which it did. We put our turkey on and were waiting for it to finish frying. After about 15 minutes, we checked the fryer and the power light was off, AGAIN!. This time with our half cooked turkey in it. We followed all the steps, tried reconnecting the break away cord, over and over, tried re-setting the unit over and over, we were never able to get the power back on. We finally took the turkey out, poured the hot oil off, put it in an oven bag and finished cooking it in the oven. My Dad really wanted one, so they exchanged it for a new one, hopefully, they have better luck than we did at Christmas.

Loved the ease of use and clean up. Cooked a 14lb turkey in 55 minutes. Came out great. Much better than standing outside cooking a turkey.

Having heard how wonderful this turkey fryer was nothing like experiencing it for yourself. Such a big difference from the propane outdoors turkey fryer...... cleanup is so much more easier as wella s th eease of using it. Love this so much.

Its a nice fryer and highly recomend it, but shop around, as soon as I paid on line for it I found the same fryer $20 cheaper, so shop around, and sams has the best deal on the peanut oil also.

I have not used the unit yet so i can't give it a higher rating. I have used a similar unit made by masterbulit in the past. The previous unit the controller went bad, after 3years and no replacement parts were available.

I haven't cooked a turkey in it to date. But, I have cooked chicken wings and potatoe wedges to get an idea of how well it cooks. I was very impressed. With the temperature heated up to 375 degrees F, it seers the chicken which locks in the seasonings and juices. I very much so like this product. I ordered it on line (because the stores had sold out it for Thanksgiving) and it came lightening fast. I think it was delivered in a couple of days. Very excited to try a turkey for New Year.

Love this fryer!! I have been waiting on this proce to come down so that I can purchase it for family and holiday gatherings instead of having my mother n law transport hers to and from her home. It comes in very handy with my larger than normal family for quick meals that may include french fries, or chicken strips or tenders; larger meals with larger entrees such as turkeys or whole birds. Love it love it love it!!

Great Thanksgiving Turkey!

I love this fryer. It's easy to set up and clean up and the turkey was just perfect for my first time doing the frying and it worry free as long as you use it outside the house but in a protected cover area. It had a lot of steam intially and the grease smell would have been overwhelming unless you have a great ventilation system n your kitchen and a large kitchen. Not suggested to use in door otherwise. Made my own injector seasoning and was the best turkey I have had in years. Very moist and the time recommended and the turkey size is the key. I would not recommend a turkey over 12 pounds at all. Going to try a chicken next. Probably will cook in 12- 15 minutes.
