I have always used a gas grill. Moved into a Condo and was forced to buy this. It is great, what I have cooked so far is exactly like my old gas model, except it cooks a little faster.

Hubby and I put this together in about 1.5 hrs. I would say that the instructions could be more clear but all in all it was fairly straightforward to assemble.
Of course, we couldn't wait to try it out so we started with some Tri-tip steaks that had been marinating for 2 days. In one word, Dee-licious!! The steaks came out perfect temp, we like them med and so juicy. Also, had a great sear on them and we used hickory chips for added flavor.
We have also done turkey wings on the rotisserie and WOW...this thing is great. They came out perfect, crispy skin and juicy with tons of flavor.
So happy!! We didn't give it 5 stars because it would be great if it got a little hotter although we did get a pretty decent grill marks on food. Also, wish it was a little easier to clean.
If you are in apt or condo, this is the way to go! It's going to make cooking this summer so much better.

Finally found a grill that I love. I don't like charcoal grills and Can't have a gas grill on my deck so I searched on-line and came across this. Read alot of the reviews like I always do. My 17 year old son put this together for me in record time and when the weather cleared and warmed up we cooked Burgers on it. I had read that someone said that the grill didn't get hot enough for grill marks we didn't have any problems getting them. We cooked on a high setting and they tasted just like they were cooked on a gas grill. Juicy and yummy! So if you want a great Electric grill this one is for you!

So far I am very happy with my new grill. It didn't take long to assemble either. I'm still adjusting to how hot to make it for some foods, but overall, it has been one of the better purchases I've made in some time. I would recommend this grill to everyone. Once you taste the food cooked on it, you will agree. You can't tell the difference from gas or charcoal taste, except you won't taste the lighter fluid flavor. I'm very pleased. Will be trying the rotisserie this weekend.

This looked really nice in the pictures & seemed to be better than the cheaper model. Now I'm not so sure. The directions leave a bit to be desired. I didn't think I'd ever get the wheels on. I finally figured out the rotisserie part but doubt I'll ever use it. The screws I put in are tight. The ones done by the factory don't seem to be. The lid hinges seem really flimsy. The last one of these I had lasted 15 plus years. I doubt this one will last for five. The cart is a lot sturdier than the actual BBQ.

Was fairly easy to assemble. The only issue I have is the grease pan is a cheap aluminum foil small loaf pan. Also the grease pan holder isn't very stable. Used the grill for the first time today to cook a rib eye. Heated up in about 15 minutes. Cooked fine. Husband can't wait to try the rotissiere.

Heating element doesn't fit well, causing some big frustrations during assembly. Also, one screw was missing in the parts bag, also frustrating. Overall, the product seems ok, but quality control is obviously lacking.

I have several electronic grills in the past several years. This time I thought I would go all out and get all the bells and whistles.I haven't tried the rotisserie as of yet, but as for the grill itself, I have found the cooking area to be very small. If (as in my case) their are only just the two of you, this will be adequate. However, should you have other people over, or just wanted to add a side dish, it doesn't really make it.

Given the limitations of the normal electrical out let in the average home manufactures are limited to a heating element to no more than 15amps. Usually this means the heating element is going to be around 1500 watts. This means a cooking area of around 200-240 sq inches max. Most of the grills that are 240sq inches size range are round in shape. I have had both the round and square shape grills and found the round shape grill actualy was a very inefficient shape for most cooking and therefor of no real benifit. I would suggest you will probably be happier with a gas grill due to you desire for a larger cooking surface. Being able to cook 4 steaks,8 Hambergers and cook the bird of my choice up to 12lbs is good enough for me. I would never go back to gas and think this American made grill is overall the best electric grill I have owned to date. Good luck in your search for the right grill for you

Needed to purchase a grill to be used on a screened porch. Had a gas grill for >30 yrs & concerned that an electric grill may not be worth the effort. Am surprised with its ability to heat, sear and adjust for slow cooking chicken & fresh vegetables, as well as high temp cooking for burgers & kabobs. Cooking an entire meal on the grill for more than 2 would be tight. Meat only would be do-able. Have not tried the rotisserie yet. Pretty easy to keep clean. Our only snag was assembly. My husband is mechanically skilled and has needed tools, but assembly took him at least 3 hrs. Instructions were written for a few different models and did not distinguish which model a paragraph referred to. Missing many screws though all other parts were packaged. Despite the assembly problem, we are pleased with our purchase.

We had one for some 18 yrs and the cord was fraying. So decided to get another one and walmart offered it, so we bought it thru them. It works great and i'm so glad electric grills are still being made.

Makes everything taste great, juicy & tender. Temperature is adjustable, so you can cook long and slow for some things or hot and fast for others. Wood chips can be spread around the heating element for a little extra smoke flavor, although with most things it's not necessary. Very happy with this grill.

We live in an area that doesn't allow for open flame grills so this works perfect for our situation! Easy to clean and very attractive and compact on our patio/balcony. Quite tedious to put together but overall completed in about three hours. Certainly recommend this to anyone who likes the char grill taste! On the down side, I cannot find the appropriate cover for this ~ even with the side tables folded in.

Love this, the Rotisserie works great. Place a few hickory chips in the bottom and you get the smoky flavor you want. But we did a whole chicken on the rotisserie without anything but basting it with butter, and it was fine just like that. Assembly was easy, too.
Love being able to UNPLUG it so the kids can't play with it. And it's always good to cook on without any fuss like having low gas, etc. And I really don't like messing with those big tanks. Great product. The little gold hooks are just simple hooks. You could get better hooks if you want, but they work fine.

We weren't interested in charcoal and didn't want to keep gas tanks in the attached garage so eletric was what we are looking for. We've done ka-bobs and burgers and they both came out great. The grill produces lots of heat and things cooked in a reasonable amount of time. Next will be vegatables and a chicken on the rotisserie. I couldn't be happier with this grill and at $188!

Great grill, just throw some wood chips on the tray under the heating element and it gives your food that great smoke flavor like a charcoal grill. I've always cooked on charcoal grills but now we live in a condo where gas and charcoal is prohibted so we purchased this grill. It has had no problem cooking everything I've put on it, 14oz steak tenderloins to 4lb whole chicken on the rotisserie. And I don't miss buying coals and lighter fluid. We are very happy with our new grill.
