I love that I didn't have to reach for a lash comb after applying this mascara. The brush is nice and plump and allows for me to apply this product with ease. I own Purple Haze, and though I wish it was more of a *purple* (it's semi violet), I still see myself picking this up to add a pop of color to my peepers. I aim to attempt layering it over a darker mascara to intensify the color.

oh my goodness, this is very good and i'm asian. I bought a couple mascara and this one is the best. But u need the primer with it. I try lancome on the other side eye and this on the side and this one works better. Look full and very black.

The color doesn't show up AT ALL. Really just looks like I put on clear mascara, the color is not visible even up close. If you have brown or black eyelashes don't even consider.

I usually buy DiorShow Mascara in Azure Blue for $25 at Sehpora. I figured I'd give this a try since it got so many great reviews and Hard Candy is not such a terrible brand. The mascara itself is ginormous like it says,hah. The smell of the product was a little off putting, like when mascara gets old and dried out after 3 months. The blue color is electric but it would NOT show up on my lashes. I have very full and long lashes and they looked black and spider-y, very piece-y. The mascara is very wet. I bought in black as well and that was okay but this is not a full volumizing mascara. I returned.

I never cared for the brownish blacks, I was so tired of paying for them, it got boring over the years. I give this a full 10 stars for the brown shade called mudslide (terrible name for the shade, change it!) A true dark brown that makes my lashes thick, a nice thick brush, I apply one coat let that dry use the eyelash curler and another coat & I'm very happy with it. To me it is waterproof, it does not smudge or flake, some may come off when in the shower but I've seen waterproofs do that also. Of course if we cry all of our eye makeup is ruined :(

One of the worse I have ever bought. I would take it back...but lost the packing slip. Should have heeded the reviewer who said the purple didn't show up. That is an understatement...wimpy lashes, the color purple is a pale & ugly color. Trash is where its going. I thought I had found a good line of products in Hard Candy....now I have my doubts. Waiting for the face luminizer & blush to arrive...we'll see!! :( :(

Lackluster color - no volume

I bought this mascara in the vibrant blue/purple hue, in the hopes of a strong pop of color for when I want to do adventurous makeup.
This mascara has bristles that are too far apart, so the lashes are left like sticks - not voluminous at all. And the color.........what color? I coated my lashes THREE times, and the blue color was still very light - not vibrant. When it finally dried down, my lashes were droopy and the color had dried down to almost none. You can barely tell that they are blue.
I have tried other colored mascaras that pack more punch in all facets than this waste of money.

I was excited to try this product but was disappointed when it didn't show up as boldly as I had hoped. The purple shows, but is very faint. However, I have dark eyelashes so maybe someone that has lighter lashes would benefit more from the color.

I love this mascara but wish it were waterproof. It leaves your lashes lush and beautiful until you laugh so hard you're in tears then it runs and you look horrible. If it were waterproof it'd be 5 stars across the board.

This mascara is now my favorite! I usually buy cover girl products but decided to take a chance on this due to a friends recommendation. It makes my eyelashes look longer and fuller. (I do apply two coats) Dries a little slow but last all day!

This is by far THE best mascara for volume and length combined and I have owned quite a few different brands. Do NOT leave in an overly-warm room, though. I did and broke the bottle the next time I tried to take the lid off because the heat had weakened the container . And then I tried a L'Oreal mascara, but I will soon be switching back because that was a HUGE mistake. I used the brown shade of this line and it made my eyes POP, which is normally an eye-liner job but I don't wear eye-liner so this did the trick. And it also last a good while, which is important when I am on the go between 8 and 14 hours a day. I noticed slight crumbing beneath my eyes a time or two, but nothing terribly bad! Try it, I think you'll like it! :)

I got this mascara in the black color and the purple. The black is your basic, average black mascara--not great, not awful. The purple is the same, but if you're looking for a pop of purple on your lashes like I was then you are gonna be disappointed. It is slightly darkening at best. Even in the bright sunlight it was difficult to tell I was even wearing mascara. The formula is pretty decent and non-clumping, but brightly colored it is not. I would not buy any of the colored shades again. Hard Candy makes a decent black mascara, but the colored ones I have bought were all wastes.

I have used Maybelline New York many time considering the fact that their commercials always interest me. I decided to try Hard Candy and I was SURPRISED with luxury! I needed a lifting mascara but this Hard Candy Ginormous Volumizing Mascara did not do it. For Asians' eyelashes that normally are not natually curly, this mascara will straighten out your eyelashes, which not good at all. However, if your eyelashes are already naturally curly, this mascara will help thicken your eyelashes.
