I'm so glad I bought this primer instead of the $100 one at Sephora. It does exactly what a primer should do: primes the skin's surface for easier makeup application.
I applied the primer on top of my daily sunscreen -- I couldn't believe how smoothly it glided across my skin. Next I applied a tinted moisturizer and mineral powder and was thrilled that there was no icky product pilling. Yay!
It lasted all day and gave my skin a little extra glow.
I have normal/combo skin that gets easily dehydrated. The primer was neither to greasy/shiny or drying for my skin.

I'm not sure why this has such good reviews, or if I just got a bad tube. But mine separated in the tube and has the consistency of cottage cheese. Not anything like Smashbox primer or even comparable.

I was excited to try this. Felt really nice on my skin; made it baby smooth. However, it gave me like 5 zits on my face after the first time using it . :( I do not recommend it for people with oily and sensitive skin. Everyone's skin reactions are different; but was not for me. :(

i absolutely love this product!!! it leaves my face feeling "baby" soft and allows other make-up to go on easily. this is not the only hard candy product i have tried. i would say hard candy is a winner! ;)

this primer felt lovely on my fingers, and was really smooth and easy apply - a little goes a long way here. my makeup was applied at 8.30 this morning and stayed mostly on up till 10.30 at night when I took it off, so that was nice. also, with the primer my foundation spread really nicely, and had a luminous quality it didn't previously have.

I was just looking for an eyeshadow primer and I ran across this product. I had never used a faced primer before so I thought I'd give it a try. I use creamy base and it always seems to melt off during the day. It definately prolongs the wear of your foundation and works great as an eyeshadow primer giving it the nice clean palette you need to make your eyeshadow pop. So glad I ran across this it's really great. Now I'm hoping to find a finishing spray to try by Hard Candy.

its only $6 and its amazing. I have acne but using this doesn't make it worse and helps my foundation glide over blemishes without looking... dry or cakey. Its great and I will never use another primer :)

It didn't keep my makeup on 8 hours. I used other products that did the job.. I gave it a fair rating because it's silky and goes on smooth it feels oily but when u blend in it dries and feels matte

I was using mac primer but it was making me break out and it didnt help with the foundation. this primer is so smooth and all you have to do is use a very small amount and the foundation goes on smooth and evenly and it stays on all day and i have not broken out at all. I LOVE THIS PRIMER

I love this primer. I have been using a primer by Too Faced but now that I have a family, and I can't justify spending that kind of money on makeup, I've been looking for something that is cheaper but of good quality. This works just as well as the primer by Too Faced. It doesn't make my skin oily and minimizes my pores. I would reccomend it to anyone and I will definitely be buying this again!

First and foremost, DO NOT purchase this product if you have very oily skin and/or prone to sweating. I live in the South and due to our sweltering summers here, I sweat easily and this is a disadvantage to my already oily skin. At first it seemed to work well enough, I only applied a small amount each time I used it (per the other reviews) but I noticed after a few days that my skin would be extremely oily (even with foundation, powder, etc) by midday. This is definitely not something that I could wear w/o foundation or powder and the other day when I tried, I ended up walking around for an hour with white residue from the primer on my face! This product is definitely NOT worth the $8 I spent on it and I would gladly pay a little more for a primer that is more oil resistant and doesn't leave me scrubbing my face!

I have to run a mile in gym class once a week and i don't even have to touch up afterwards! I got this product in the first flush make-up kit and fell in love with it instantly! I just had to buy the regular sized one! It works even better if u set the foundation (which i also recommend from this brand) with the "welcome matte" powder (i also recommend).

Shake before using! This stuff works so good! I use a pea size ammount on my face, and wait a lil bit before putting on foundation. It leaves your skin buttery soft, and foundation lasts all day. Primer is a makeup artists magic trick, and it works. IN LOVE :)

This primer is pretty awesome, it instantly makes your skin look clearer and brighter. And it is whipped so it makes your skin really soft. Just moisturize before applying because sometimes it can leave small white streaks on your face. But other than that, it's perfect!

This primer did not work for me. It did nothing to help the texture of my skin, it did not cover pores or wrinkles. It didn't give my foundation any staying power. It also made me break out, I used it for about 5 days and my skin just got worse looking over the time I used it. When I stopped using it, my skin cleared. This product did not help in any way, and actually made my skin worse.

This is great it makes your make up last and it is kinda half cream half powder really weird. The only problem I have with it is that I have very oily skin and this just makes it wores but if you get hard candys welcome matte powder the oily thing goes away I love how it doesn't make me breakout! And if you read the bottle there is NO spf in this product!
