I have compared the pictures taken with this Samsung SL 105 12mp against some taken with my 8 & 9 megapixel cameras. Is there a big difference? No. However this camera has a lot of plusses. The screen is bright and easy to see. It almost always gets the exposure right. My favorite feature is the ability to pause during movies. I have not seen this before. This is great for making video clips of baseball games as you can shoot just the pitch coming in, and not the pitcher spitting and generally malingering around the mound before throwing the ball. One thing I don't like is that you cannot access the various modes (including video) without going into the menu. My other cameras have an outside knob or dial. Also, I wish the proprietary battery was of a more common type. I like/dislike the machined aluminum front panel. I looks nice and makes it easier top hold the camera. But, it also likes to pick up lint and whatnot. I have a lot of cameras of all types (like 600+). This one works well and the colors are neutral and accurate. Did I mention that it only cost $74.00? One caution though: I would strongly advise that you NOT use the form fitting case that comes bundled with this camera. The camera occasionally turns itself on by static electricity from your hand being close to it. I had a Sanyo that did that and it was in a tight case and the lens tried to extend and ruined the camera. I would keep it in a loose fitting case with plenty of room.

I bought this camera for my wife. We are bought novices with digital cameras. We have only used the auto mode and we are delighted with the clarity of the pictures and how easy the camera is to use.I would highly recommend this unit

I purchased this camera about 2 weeks ago and I love it. My last camera was a Samsung and I had it for 3 years with no problems, so I wanted another Samsung. If you have a Samsung camera program on your computer, you have to uninstall it before loading this camera program. The program is compatible with Windows and Vista.
The pictures are clear and crisp. You can take photos in black&white, negative, retro, and other color schemes. The photo edit on the computer is good also. This is a fast camera when flash is off, but with flash there is a little bit of delay. You can make videos with sound, but I haven't tried this yet.
I love the camera case. It's sleek and lightly padded, not bulky. Only minus is that it doesn't have a slot for an extra SD card.
This is a great bundle! Great camera with SD card AND case, you really can't beat that for the price and quality!

This camera is a great deal. I am no pro but my thought on most things I buy that are electronic is simply play with it. I suggest taking an hour or two to just snap shots in different modes randomly around the house. See what does what so that you know what each function does and "read the manual" it is clear and direct for the most part. This camera is a great buy for those looking for new camera. I remember when 398.00 got your 5 mega pixels and a hefty camera to boot. This is slim trim and lightweight. It shoots clear pictures and some blurry ones but overall it is a great gift for 74.00 plus tax.

this camera takes great pictures at a distance or up real close. some people say this camera didn't take good pictures at a distance but if you put the camera on its distance setting then it will take clear pictures. it has great features such as editing and light settings. i definately recommend this camera.

I recently bought a cannon (cant recall the model) its on this website, anywho... the pics were HORRIBLE. Up close or far away, all blurry. I even brought the camera in to a WALMART and the associate took pics in store and she even said yes, the camera may or may not be defective- regardless I didnt want that camera anymore.
Happened upon this great bundle and both my sisters have Samsungs and I always look great in the pics from their camera ;-) so I decided to give this one a try.
Love love love it! The pictures are always clear, simple to use, compact- all around perfect for me. The memory card and case are a nice bonus too and the price is unbeatable. You're not gonna find this quality for this price so yes, try one out now. You'll look great too!

My partner and I wanted to take a camera with us on vacation to NY. We have a super nice Cannon Rebel, but didn't want to deal with the different lenses or the large, heavy camera. So I went online and found this camera. When I opened it I first noticed how lightweight it was. At first this scared me because I thought that meant the quality of the camera would be horrible, but it really is a great camera! It takes great, clear pictures outside, inside, night, with or without flash, and even with a dog that runs around non stop! Other than the great picture quality, I love that this camera is charged with a cord instead of batteries so that way I won't have to worry about changing batteries contantly. The only thing that is a little frustrating with the camera is that there is about a 1-2 second delay after you hit the button for the camera to actually take the picture. Other than that, for $100 I am beyond pleased!!!

Recently my sony dscw170 broke within 1.5 years of its purchase (second time with the same problem of lens goin in and out!!). Called their customer service to help. They wanted $100 to fix. For the same amount I found this samsung SL105 Black 12MP Digital Camera Bundle with 2GB SD Card & Case. Didnt hesitate and bought. I am happy with its performance so far. I have been a loyal sony customer for almost 15 years. Its changed now!! Samsung rules...! U get more for ur bucks with samsung. Carlzeiss lens? forget it...u get better shot with a Samsung dude! its all electronics and its so good with samsung. I love u samsung.

had the camera a month and out of the 300 pictures taken I'm only happy with maybe 25 of them. I've played with the settings and it's hard to get a none blurry shot with the flash.

Ok, I bought this camera today for my mother's birthday which is also today. This camera is $100+ online. I bought it at my local WalMart for just under $80 ($79 and some change). Right out the box I was so happy wit this camera I wanted it for myself. I was going to go with the Kodak Easy Share which is more, until I was told this one came as a bundle for cheaper and it's more mega pixels. 12.2, The pictures are crystal clear, the video is also crystal clear, along with the sound. The sound of the video plays back on the camera, also the sound is a bit off, like lips move way after the sound has passed, it may just be my camera, I can fix this in Sony Vegas. It has a lot of cool features. One I thought to be really interesting was the slide show, you can have music play while the slide show presents all of your pictures. The memory card that came with mines was a Sandisk 2 gb and a very nice protective pouch. It was really a plus that it came with a rechargeable battery instead of having to keep replacing batteries like most. When I gave it to my mother she loved it. This camera looks to be around for lots of memories. All in ALL I would highly recommend this product to anyone looking for a good deal on a budget, with crystal clear pictures (12.2 mega pixels).

I have gone through a few digital cameras and after my last one died, i have been holding out to find a good deal on a good camera. I initially bought this camera for my mother-in law because it was cheap and easy to use and she needed something she could understand. I actually purchased a kodak dig. cam. and quickly realized that this one that i bought for my mother-in-law took much better quality photos and was much better overall. I returned my much more expensive kodak and purchased this one instead and I have no regrets! Plus, my Walmart had the bundle on sale for $74.00!!! Could not beat this deal on such a great camera!

I have had this camera almost a week and I find it to be very good camera. This is my first high-end camera. I have been using my LG camera phone and I thought it produced good picture. But ween I got a real camera I see that the picture are better. Some of the other camera out there are more expensive and do not take pictures as well as this camera. I give this camera a A+ on it pictures and features. It is also very easy to use.

I have only had the camera since Christmas but it is awesome. A great buy. I was very happy about not having the hassle finding a memory card and all of the extra things that comes with buying a new camera. I Just Love it! Especially the slideshows! Its very small and can fit into my mini Clutch. Great Megapix's. No problems thus far and hopefully none ever!
