Takes awesome pics, from low lighting to bright light...has a "beauty pic" feature...takes awesome videos even in low light.......great close ups...even at 50 feet, I took a pic of a tree just to see how detailed the pic would be...I could zoom in on the final pic and see details of a leaf...just a great all around camera and an awesome buy for those that can't afford, or do not want to spend the money on a $300+ camera!

Great Product and Great Value,

I purchased the camera for a christmas gift for someone else but I played with it before wrapping. The pictures were sharp and clear, its easy to use and not too complicated for a novice user (the person I'm giving it to). The color was a pretty red, i thought it was going to be a brighter red based upon the photo and was a little concerned it would be too garish. But the color is great. All in all, a great value.

Not worth the money. Its a childs toy more than an adult camera. The only GOOD thing is all the accessories that come with it. I loved the SD card reader, 2GB card, carrying case and the tripod. The pictures are VERY pixilated and blurry even with flash. The 12.1 mp is very misleading. I get better pictures from my 3.6mp from Pintax that is 6 years old. I am very disappointed, returned it the very next day.

too tight case,

the case is too tight and starting to tear apart from the first time i got it. camera does not fit in it freeley and easliy, case is bulky from thee outside, there is this stuff to hang it on your belt, who uses that?
video is poor, when you are video recording and zooming in or out the microphone cuts off, doesnt record the sound during zoom in or out. I had the same problem on another samsung.

Samsung SL35 Red 10.2MP Digital Camera,

If anyone is looking foe a very good digital camera, than the Samsung SL35 is just the one. It's easy to use and takes great pictures. It came with a 2GB SD memory but can handle a 4GB SD memory. Thats good to know with more memory you can take more or all HD pictures and that just makes this cam camera the best for your money. Check it out online or in a store you'll see what I mean.

Potentially a very good product,

From my experience to date, the only problem I have with this product is the lenghth of the cord connecting the camera to the computer. It is much too short and causes me to work on the floor. I have owned many other digital camera and all the others hade a cord that was 3-4 fett long. This camera's a barealy over a foot long.
The pictures we have taken have been great.

Since this is my first digital camera, I found it a little daunting--and the first time I used it, the very important event did not get pictured. The battery had discharged!! Having to recharge it often is a problem and needing to remove the memory card after each use is NOT on my list of favorite things to do! I may get used to the things needed before too long~~ I hope

I bought this as a gift for one of my daughters. It was nice having everything in one box instead of having to buy the items separately and then finding a box or gift bag for them to fit in. It was also less expensive as a set (I shopped around first). My daughter was thrilled with it. The camera is easy to use and takes great pictures. What more could I ask?!
