There are loads of hook and eyes, but you don't mess your hair this way! There's a little silicone band on the bottom of it to keep it from creeping. It's really splendid.

I purchased this torsette to wear postpartum after my 1st daughter for back support and tummy trimming. I was considering getting a SQUEEM and even tried one on at the store but since money was tight i didn't think the difference was enough to shell out the extra cash. Squeem stays in place more and is a stiffer material so less riding up...but as far as tightening and sucking in....there's not enough of a difference to pay that much more and I got this one.
PROS I like that u can wear your own bra to allow for breastfeeding access. It does suck in and provide support yet it's not sooooo tight and that you cant wear it all day. I wore it all day and even slept in it after having my 1st daughter. I also like that it has 2 sets of hook eye closure rows to allow for adjustment if u lose a little bit of weight. The sizing is accurate And last but not least I definitely liked the PRICE!
CONS the straps should be longer you gotta put the bra strap at its longest setting and pull down to try and get it all way under the breasts. but it didn't interfere with pumping or breastfeeding nor did it misshape them in any way. After wearing for a while it does lose it's original tightness and loosens a bit whit means there is a little bit of bunching and riding up after a few hours of moving around. You can see it under thin shirts...the hook eye closures, but not under sweaters or loose shirts
Overall for the price it's an awesome product. I gave the 1st one i bought to a friend and now I am pregnant again and bought the item again to wear after i have my second daughter, so it's definitely worth buying.

This garment is great for smoothing and helping to hold back the fat. It will not make you look flat but does give you a good hold. What I don't like is that the straps sometimes feel as they are digging in your shoulders and I have to adjust them a few times during the day. Other than that, it's worth the money.

I BOUGHT THIS EXACT SAME TORSETTE IN SEARS FOR DOUBLE THE PRICE!! Do not hesitate!! Buy from Walmart!!
I bought this because I have always had a square shape. I am not overweight, but my body totally lacks curves. This product gives me the hourglass shape that I always wanted!! It does have some negatives, which I will get to. It is comfortable, flexable, and gives you the illusion of having an hourglass shape.
My posture was corrected instantly. And after wearing it for 2 weeks, I see that my waist is actually getting smaller!! I measured just to make sure it wasn't my imagination.
The negatives? It does ride up if you are wearing low-rise pants. I have had better luck with high rise pants. Also the hook and eye closure, which does most of the work, shows through form fitting tops. But if it didn't have the hook and eye, it wouldn't work as well.

This is torture!!! It is impossible to snap those front closures and still live. Bought another that is a cami style at the same time and loved it. Returned this. When I returned it, the store employee said she can't stand to wear the one she bought.

When i first purchased the product it seemed to hold everything in place! i was totally amazed then after a few more wears it started to roll up and when u sit it bunches up. Initally i bought it with the intention of providing additional support to my back due to my long work hours which includes lifting etc it is not for everyday or extended wear the support in the sides felt like they were cutting into my sides i had to take the darn thing off.

I really like this product!! I am so happy to finally have something that will help me look better while I work towards reaching my body weight goals.
I am a size 14-18 up top and I got the XL. It is perfect. It holds my tummy in nicely and smoothes out my back. I plan to pair this up with my No Nonsense Great Shapes pantyhose which are fabulous for shaping the legs, thighs, stomach, and butt (otherwise it might roll-up or put a dent across my bottom, lol).
I'm sure these will look excellent under a close fitted dress or any other outfit. Definitely worth the $19 and I think it is way better than the full shapers because you don't have to go through a bunch of drama to use the washroom. It also makes you feel more sexy when you wear it.

I bought this product and absolutely love it. I had my son about 8 weeks ago and have been working on the extra weight I put on. I was 160 before I got pregnant and gained 40 lbs. I've taken off about 25 lbs but wearing this makes me look like I did before I had him. It took away the muffin top and the little extra on my belly I would recommend this to anyone. Just make sure you get the right size.

I would not recommend this product to anyone who was 10 or more lbs overweight as it does not deliver what it promises. It bunches and does not help with any amount of back issues you may have in regards to smoothing. I was very disappointed when I put this item on. No sooner had I sat down and it bunched up badly! It did not even take off inches as it said it would either! I took it off immediately and returned it.

I just had a baby 7 weeks ago and was looking for something to help hide all of the extras that i have now. I think it would work better if i got the next size up but i think its going to work. It sure holds things in and I will have to see if it makes anything smaller. The hooks and eyes do show throguh shirts too, that the only thing about this i don't like. You would have to be looking right at it to notice them.
