I am very impressed with this cage. It is well made and sturdy. It goes together easily and it folds down and comes apart for storage. This cage is perfect for parakeets to amazons. This is the second poquito hotel cage by Avian adventures that I purchased, and I can't say enough about it. This cage is better then most travel cages that cost twice as much. I have 4 parrots, and I have lots of experience with birds and cages/cage purchases. You will not be disappointed with this cage. It has a large door that opens up at the cage front; and there is also a small sized door within the larger door, so that you can control the entrance and exit of a smaller sized bird. It has two stainless steel feeding bowls, which sit securely in sturdy holders. The bowls are removeable and serviceable through their own doors, which open and allow access to the bowls and the holders that they sit into. There is a tray at the cage bottom for newspaper and also a grate that sits above the tray. This cage is constructed like many of the larger sized brand name cages. It is the perfect size and great for travel or short stays when needed. I have one cage in the ruby color and another in the platinum color. I recommend the platinum color for the dusty breeds of parrots (african grays and cockatoos). The bird's dander is not as noticeable on the platinum colored cage. I highly recommend this cage. It is a great value and is constructed extremely well.

I needed an in-between cage for travel and outside trips. I know my African Gray loves to take things apart so I needed a substantial cage with no bolts he could unscrew, a cage I can break down and pack easily, a large front door, well made, stout and safe. This cage arrived well packed, easy to assemble, yet each side is separate so it is NOT one that simply folds up and is flimsy. This cage is perfect! I am MOST pleased and I have been raising and transporting birds for decades. I can testify that this is the most substantial cage I have ever seen for boarding, emergency evacuation, sleeping, inbetween, and traveling. I highly recommend it!

I actually bought 4 of these for my parrots (Indian Ring Neck, Greys, Eclectus). I left these at my families homes and they are all you need to "hotel" your birds.
