We bought this blender because of favorable product reviews and after a series of disappointing models by other makers. Though we don't do a lot of blending - the food processor gets a lot more use - when we do it involves making things like hummous, pureeing onions, crushing ice, etc. This is a nice blender. Would have preferred it in black, but what can you do. The triangular shape is a little odd, but not so bad. Most important, it does a good job of mixing and blending.

There were a lot of positive reviews on this product so I gave this one a shot. Unfortunately, it was terrible! I first tried it with some fruit smoothies. I had to keep readjusting the fruit so it would blend. It took me several minutes to make the smoothies and there were large chunks still. I'm returning it tomorrow.

This blender is extremely easy to use, and very durable. We use it almost daily for nutrition shakes, smoothies, dips; just about everything you can possibly imagine. It takes about 10 seconds to blend up a mixture of ice and frozen strawberries (6 cups/1500 ml). The 'clean' cycle is very nice also. I would recommend this to anybody that wants simple and effective when it comes to a blender.

I purchased this product on-line and had it shipped to the Walmart near my home to replace a hand held one I used to make Smoothies. It is extremely powerful and I will probably not use it to its potential but it is perfect for making smoothies which I make each morning. I add fruit and yogurt and it only takes a minute to blend it perfectly and I am using the No.1 speed. The blade is easy to remove, clean and replace in seconds. I am very happy with my purchase and recommend this product to anyone who needs a powerful blender!

I chose this blender because it was a Consumer Reports quick pick. The price was also about what I wanted to spend to replace my Oster beehive blender. I've only used it once so far but I used it to crush ice and it did an amazing job. Very fast and all was crushed with the first try. With my last blender I had to turn it on and off a few times to get all the ice crushed. I like the different settings as well. I recommend it!

The blender so far has done an excellent job
The lack of rating in durable has to do with the fact I have only used for 2 months
I am a little concerned about the plastic gear train Consumer Reports indicated that with the current model (this model) they tested for durability and the gears held up.
Consumer Reports has not led me wrong in the past
So far so good

This blender is just as the Consumer Reports review stated. It does a great job and costs half as much as the high end blenders. My only complaint is the pouring spout/lip. For frozen drinks we always have some dripping down the front.

My $100+ smoothie maker died suddenly. It was great, however, I didn't want to pay that much for another one. I use a lot of ice and frozen fruit for my smoothies and was looking for a powerful one that I didn't have to bounce around on the countertop to get things crushed and mixed. I searched "Consumer Reports" and this one was highly recommended. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT. I use it at least 5 times a week making my breakfast smoothie. I'm thinking about purchasing another one for work...love my smoothies!

This blender was recommended by America's Test Kitchen. I had a difficult time finding it in all the common stores. Braun's web page led me to Walmart.com and I was delighted to find the site to store program with free shipping. How easy can it get? I have had the product a short time but so far I am very happy with it. Solid pitcher with nice tight fitting lid and simple controls. Its' overall appearance looks like good quality and I felt the price was fair. I am happy with the Test Kitchen's recommendation.
