Purchased the product about six weeks ago and it has performed flawlessly. No problems at all. Bought a wireless adapter, plugged it in to a USB port and it worked purrfectly.
I would highly recommend this product, if you can find it -- Wal-Mart has modified this offering and it is hard to find!

This eMachine replaces a 10 yr old vaio. I am amazed at the speed. And you can't beat the price for what you get. Still feeling my way around but really like the Windows 7 so far. I would definitely recommend buying this PC!

I'm a huge Sims 2 fan. I bought this computer after I saw the specs and price. I didn't know Windows 7 would be such a peach at helping me install my old base game and expansion packs. It automatically tells you when something is not compatible and quickly helps you find a solution to the problem. Coolness. Anyway, I'm still planning on upgrading the powersupply and graphics card. I'd still be saving money versus buying something insanely expensive somewhere else.

So far this has been a great value. My 12 year old grandson said it is "great". He loves it. It is fast for sure. Getting use to windows 7 has been a challange but we are learning new things all the time.

This is the best value for your money you can get in a PC. Think about it - Windows 7 = $100, 6 gigs of memory = $200! That makes the rest of the the PC free. It is fast enough for most games and certainly fast enough for the Internet and typical home word processing and number crunching. You can not go wrong with this machine.

I bought this pc based on reviews. I agree with everyone that liked the pc. This pc was $200-$300 cheaper than one from dell and is built way better.
Windows 7 wasn't compatible with my wireless adatpor to connect to the net. I am not sure if they make them yet for windows 7, other than that, no problems. I just put XP on here and I am up and running without one problem yet. I've had it since 1/27/10.

I am really happy with this computer. All i heard bad about e-machines was false. For 400 bucks this is the best computer i have ever had. I've owned Dell and Compaq and HP computers and this is the fastest and largest hard drive i've owned. Norton seems to work well and doesnt slow me down. And windows 7 is really user friendly. I'm really satisfiedwith this great deal.

I purchased this comp 1 week ago,knowing i would be satified with the product(i had previously owned 2 other e-machines without any problems)I did replace the power supply with a 650 watt to run my graphics card and this machine does very well.I play wow and i cannot believe the difference in game playing.I would recommend this comp to anyone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I Bought this unit a couple of weeks ago after extensive research. Without a doubt, this is the best value for the money considering the capabilities of this machine compared to other products. When you match component for component ie. 2.7 ghz Processor speed, Dual Core, 6 Gig memory (upgradeable to 8), 750 gig SATA hard drive, etc. this machine is a significant value over other manufacturers offerings.
I opened the case, had a look inside, and found the ET1331G-03W has a 300 Watt power supply. This is important because that allows you some flexibility to upgrade the video card. The Geforce 6150SE is more than adequate for business applications, watching videos online, and light gaming but if you are a serious gamer you will need to upgrade to a more powerful video card.
The system is quiet and fast. It is loaded with Windows 7, which is a great improvement over Vista, and the system worked beautifully out of the box. I had one minor problem with the sound not working, but contacted their tech support who I found to be competent and responsive over their chat capability and solved the problem in minutes after I downloaded a new driver.
In my research, I have not found any machine that comes close to this level of performance for the money, either online or offline. Although I was sceptical about E-Machines as a manufacturer, that is no longer the case. I am totally satisfied with my purchase, and agree with all the five star ratings attributed to this machine.
Kudos to EMachines for a great product and thanks Walmart for selling it at your stores.

I window shopped this model for a few weeks. I did my homework on TomsHardware.com and it turns out that this computer is a great buy.
Everything worked perfect out of the box. I KVM'ed it over to my 28 inch monitor. It's doing 1920x1200 resolution no problem.
I mainly needed it for some java applications I run that are quite greedy when it comes to memory. The 6G gives me some room to breathe.
Other than Norton, the PC was relatively clean. Uninstalling Norton took only a few minutes. Creating system disk another 30 minutes. Be sure to have 3 writable DVD handy when you get this online.
The box has 6 or so USB ports, so that is not a problem. The DVD writer works great and Windows 7 feels so much faster than Vista did. It's also a bit cleaner.
I was also pleasantly surprised to be able to install some software of mine that is not certified for Windows 7.
Overall, I couldn't be happier. This box will be running hot and crunching numbers for years to come!

this is a wonderful pc iv had it for about 3-4 weeks works great no problems one thing i liked was i can play call of duty 4 on low and battlefield 2 on max so it doesn't look great but very playable the 6 gb ram and the 2.7 amd athlon 2 x2 is a great combo for a blazzyin fast pc
and yes im young but i know what im talking about

I have been fighting with a computer that was 11 years old and actually survived Hurricane Katrina when nothing else I owned did. I finally broke down and bought this computer. WHAT A DREAM!!! Easy to hook up and get it running. With no problems I was able to download all of the old information from my old computer and put it into this one. I would recommend this computer to anyone who does not know a lot about computers. It's so easy I was able to do it.

PC exceeds my expectations. Worked great out of the box. I am still getting used to Windows 7 but am finding it satisfactory. I would personally not upgrade from XP or Vista just because of Windows 7. Emachines packed this PC with plenty of RAM and HardDrive and the performance shows. Brings up items quick compared to my older P4 3.2ghz.
